A great budget stay with friendly, helpful staff. I didn't have breakfast or use the gym etc so I can't comment, but I did see it was busy in the restaurant. I have stayed here before so I know everything is pretty basic in the rooms, though they did have a decent mattress.

The mattresses on the bed were very hard very uncomfortable. Staff were lovely very helpful and friendly. Quite noisy doors slamming at night didnt get much sleep the whole time we were there.

On arrival picture of room to upgrade to for extra cost room we were allocated very old unclean and smell of burning we upgraded to apparent new room this was better but by far new stains on headboard carpet and missing light fittings won’t be back

Breakfast was nice good choice, King room upgrade for £10 pp a night was nice, pool was nice but small lucky just two of us in it you have to pay £10 deposit per towel and a £1 for the hire, Entertainment was okay, Had to pay £27 parking for three night stay because I booked through Expedia, Sports bar food (burnt bacon bap)+ a pint deal was terrible was the driest thing I’ve ever eaten plus was over charged for the food then had to see a manager to get £3 refund (How embarrassing), smells stale and damp in the corridors, full skips and building materials out near parking areas.

Had a lovely stay here staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location Only down side was I had searched for hotels with parking and aircon which this hotel has but at an additional charge. Which I was informed had I booked direct with the hotel for the same price for room my parking would have been free instead of the £9 a day

we did not prebook food but other family members did and said how nice it was so we then paid £7.50 for buffet breakfast and £12.50 for evening meal both really nice.

I only had a small single room which looked dated. Old furniture etc. bed was comfortable though. It was adequate for my 2 night stay. However the bathroom smelt a bit and I had to leave extraction fan on over night with door closed. When I first arrived the bathroom light and extractor fan was already on so I think they no it has an odour. Just needs sorting that’s all.

I was going to request a 100% refund but as the Hotel gave a free breakfast i reduced my tequest to 50 %. Despite the issues i had the Hotel clealy believe saving £35 is more important than their customers. Despite the presence of insects on my bed they felt £69 was a fair price.

A great budget stay with friendly, helpful staff. I didn't have breakfast or use the gym etc so I can't comment, but I did see it was busy in the restaurant. I have stayed here before so I know everything is pretty basic in the rooms, though they did have a decent mattress.
