Min vistelse på Riviera Lodge Hotel i Torquay var en riktig höjdpunkt. Hotellet har en klassisk engelsk charm som genomsyrar både inredning och atmosfär. Personalen var otroligt vänlig och hjälpsam – man kände sig verkligen välkommen från första stund. Rummen var mycket fina, välstädade och fräscha, vilket bidrog till en riktigt behaglig upplevelse. Hotellets läge är också ett stort plus – nära till både strand, centrum och sevärdheter, men ändå lugnt och avkopplande. Varje morgon serverades en utsökt traditionell engelsk frukost som verkligen satte guldkant på dagen. Dessutom var det härligt att kunna koppla av vid den uppvärmda poolen eller njuta av hotellets "hot tub" efter en dag med sightseeing – en perfekt kombination av komfort och lyx. Jag kan varmt rekommendera Riviera Lodge Hotel till alla som söker en trivsam och personlig vistelse i hjärtat av Torquay.

Excellent service,friendly staff

On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down. Very comfortable bed and slept well. Breakfast was a delight, fruit and poached eggs for me but everything you could want including vegan options on the menu. Checked out and will be back. Keep doing what you do guys. AAAAA+++

Good place to stay

Only negative was the WiFi and 4/5G signals from the room.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! I can’t remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to return 😎

The hotel was Gr8 a week away, and the owners were Fab; nothing too much trouble. Torquay town was 8 min walk, so the location was perfect. The pool was clean and warm ( heated ), and the jacuzzi was an excellent touch food 10/10. I would recommend this little gem for your stay

Amazing hotel!! If you are visiting area and can afford that bit more, then choose this place. You will NOT be disappointed!! Family run business and they were lovely!! Pool awesome and they have a hot tub!! We loved it!!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Riviera Lodge Hotel. The people who owned it and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was a compact double and enough for our needs. Tea and coffee and 2 bottles of water in the room. The breakfast was enjoyable. Would definitely go back to the same hotel again.

Everything was ok nothing to dislike very nice pool south facing

Overall this is probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Nothing was too much and we enjoyed our stay that much so, that we extended our stay for another two nights. Very clean. Breakfast was provided with a large variety to choose from. Bar area was nice, had a pool table and liked the personal touch that there were packs of cards/dominos for guests to use as well. Pool area was lovely and we used the hot tub which was great too. It was sanitised between uses. The only negative was the room we were moved to for the final night was very small compared to our previous room. They did ask if we would like to view the room and we did say no. I just felt that as the rooms were the same price, they were very different in size. The room on the last night also got very, very warm. However, we had a great stay overall and the hotel was in a desirable location also. We would definitely consider going back again!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great and the pool and jacuzzi also. A good location and easy to access the harbour and town centre. The wifi in my room was pretty non existent but was advised that they are aware of this and do have boosters. The weak wifi connection seems to be the case for most venues in the Torquay area though so not really a fault of the hotel I’d suggest. I would recommend staying here and have already to my friends.

Great location. Everything about the hotel was excellent the pool area (although we didn’t use the pool) the bar. Our room was lovely. The owners were very helpful. Check in was easy & quick. Would definitely book a stay again

Lovely place to stay in s perfect position , pool and hot tub in the lovely garden , breakfast was nice , shower in bathroom had little pressure and could have been easier to work but overall we would stay again , hosts could not go enough for us

Just returned from a weekend stay at Rivera Lodge, we enjoyed everything about it, friendly professional owners and staff, swift and easy check in/out, very clean hotel, nice rooms, a lovely bar, seating area over looking a very well maintained heated pool and garden area contain a hot tub (although sadly never got to use them due to the English weather,), very good location a 10 min walk to beach and Torquay town, would definitely recommend and will be visiting again 👍
