Amazing value and so much to do. Food was plentiful, pleasant and of a canteen standard. Bluecoats and other staff very pleasant and helpful. Accommodation basic but comfortable enough and very quiet. Entertainment was amazing. Afternoons and evenings with lots of choice for different events. A great break if you embrace what is on offer. No children allowed so very different atmosphere.
Only negative point was cleaner coming into our room 20 minutes before check out time on last day.

Unfortunately our quiet weekend was spoiled by staff allowing a Butlins reunion group to set up an open air karaoke in the centre aisle of chalets which was noisy and annoying each afternoon we were there When we arrived Saturday, after a long drive, we put our chairs outside our chalet to relax in the shade, then the screeching started! There was a karaoke set up in the ballroom but they decided to instead ruin our peace and quiet. So many of the people there went into their chalets and shut their windows! Who decided that all on site had to listen to them. Not good practice! We had had a stressful week and this was meant to be a bit of peace and quiet! AWFUL!

No hair dryer in room had to hire one for £20 but got money back on return no complimentary tea coffee had to sort that out in all very basic but doable

Good value for money and good evening entertainment.
Food was ok with choices of main meals. Desserts could have been more varied as had the same choices every evening.
Some chalets still need updating but a program of refurbishment is underway.

The chalet was basic, but I didn't expect anything more for the price. However, it wasn't particularly clean and the room smelled of damp. Staff were not welcoming at reception and almost assumed we knew their procedures and where everything was. The breakfast was fine - we didn't eat there in the evenings so can't comment on the standard.

Clean room bed a bit tired not very comfortable ok for a short stay stopped at sand bay several times before first time room had no shower only a bath a bit strange as it looked like bathroom had been recently refurbished, 80s weekend so great entertainment day and night easy access to the beach if you like fresh air all the usual stuff you woul expect small swimming pool , snooker tables, pool and darts . Dining room clean again looks like recently refurbished with new tables and chairs decent food and plenty of it would go again
