This is a fabulous place to stay. Breakfast was amazing. Staff helpful and friendly. Our only concern was the bedroom was above the local shop. So from 5 am until midnight we had lots of noise from horns beeping from van drivers urging the shop to open, to youths congregating outside at night. Other quite rooms are available on the opposite side of the hotel.

This type of accommodation is why I love to stay at less corporate type places. It was different, comfortable and had lovely decor. But by far the best part was the wonderful young lady who was serving breakfast, she was friendly and kept me topped up with coffee while I worked. It is the first time I have ever nipped to the loo only to come back to a full cup of coffee without asking. What a lovely surprise. I am so sorry I have forgotten her name but I will never forget her excellent service.

Great location and a very nice room.
The room was extremely hot with a fan that was next to useless.
The breakfast was ok not much left out in the dining room compared to other hotels to choose from

This is a greta hotel and pub within the historic Chatham dockyard with local outlet shops within 5 mins walking distance, room was clean with some nice touches, staff are friendly and a good breakfast.

location nice, rooms hot in summer. doors in halls of hotel need cleaning/paint, looking scruffy.
Staff in restaurant especially during breakfast inefficient. took more then 30m to get yoghurt served.... other tables with 6 guests were served 2 dishes each in meantime. waitress should identify better the customers i.e. business travel single person or 6 guests on holiday.
staff at night waiting behind bar, almost felt like they avoided contact with customer. If it weren't for the kind gentleman that checked me in, I would not have been able to order any food at around 8.40pm.
especially the long wait in the morning would not make me consider the establishment again during business trips. If you are on holiday it would be worthwhile to consider I guess.
