Had a lovely overnight stay at Shrigley Hall Hotel. Big spacious room and full bathroom. Food was fabulous and the staff were excellent. A relaxing break in the middle of Christmas and New Year - just what we needed.

We stayed as we booked the late swim and spa. Are room for three had two double beds and bathroom. Although dated and in need of a little attention it didn’t detract from our stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel. The outside swim area was cold and we couldn’t stay in it for long. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Food was good and warm. Overall a great stay and would return.

Disappointing so very dissatisfied Dirty bathroom. Rude receptionist Food very average Decor dates Expensive for what it was. Peeling wallpaper in bedrooms. Black mould just over rated. Also awful non atmospheric music through out. Come and just basically not sure why or how they have 4*

It was terribly cold throughout the whole hotel The spar had no heating in the changing rooms or the treatment room that I was in The restaurant was not very good and the breakfast was awful

Stay was excellent staff Brilliant because of the wintery conditions bar & Dining rooms where a little cold. Team where keeping access up the steep drive free from ice for car access give -4’C which was well done Food Excellent service good evening menu limited.

We arrived to find out that you had to pay to be in the pool that’s heavily advertised on the hotel page. £25 for 4 hours? Each? And it isn’t available for children either. It was very much the reason for staying and so we were severely disappointed.

Awful nights sleep, very loud parties and then a lot of drunk people shouting outside the room until the early hours. Staff lovely, just bad time of year to stay if you’re looking for relaxation avoid Christmas!

Left here rather disappointed as hidden in the small print is the fact that you have to pay extra to use the pool that features so prominently when booking. The costs of which for a couple isn't far off the cost of the whole stay. Disingenuous advertising, won't be staying again...

Nice room with bath, kettle etc Bed comfortable. Breakfast good although 7.20 start a bit late. As historic building a lot of stairs. Back route from car park not entirely clear on a stormy day. Staff friendly and helpful.Good value.
