Pleasant stay

Check in was haphazard ,we were informed 14.00 hrs but the employee when he arrived said it was15.00.the property was well kept but some of the other guests were very noisy slamming doors with no respect for other occupants

Difficult to find - not well marked. Room was up several flights of stairs. No elevator. Room was small. Main issue was the beds were rickety, old and uncomfortable Area did not feel safe. Not a place I could stay. I found another hotel room immediately. The attendant did help with bags and did try to remedy situation.

Great location. Room was clean , tidy and spacious. Host was friendly. Would happily stay again .

The bedding, and ensuite were clean, and fresh. The bed itself, was two single mattresses on a double base, with a double topper on top. Springs were poking through in places. Furniture in the room, was worn, wobbly, and seemed to have melted wax in every drawer. There was a bright green emergency light in the ceiling that was permanently on, and lit the room up at night. I knew in advance that I would have to pay £15 per day for parking, but after not seeing anybody on arrival, and no clear signage available, I couldn't find reception, or staff members. I did however, receive a phone call after 8.30 p.m. whilst eating out, telling me to pay £30 immediately, by card, cash, or bank transfer. I then didn't receive payment details quickly, so rushed back to pay. I found a letter, stuck to my windscreen, which left strips of glue on my window, when I took it off. I paid my £30 to a staff member, which were plentiful, at 10 p.m. The curtains didn't fit the windows, they were hanging down at 1 end, and tied together, so didn't open properly either. staff kept walking past the windows in the mornings, so privacy didn't seem important. The radiator cover was bent upwards. The wardrobe was doorless, and wedged into place with a bit of old wood. The shower curtain was 4 inches short of the floor, meaning the bathroom floor was wet and slippery, even though they kindly left a towel on the floor for us. The sink plug didn't fit properly, so water drained out quickly. Won't return.

Do not believe the other reviews, there is nothing wrong with this property !!!

The room had everything you could ask for and a bonus of having a microwave and mini fridge plus a mini kitchen area with small table and chairs

It was central to Southsea and only a 20 minute walk from the seafront or 10 minutes to the shops.

Fixtures and fittings in poor repair.

Good location for concert, but a bit confusing on how to park for the property We requested parking thinking it would be £5 a day as per the website instructions however, was later told it was £15 per day. The on-street parking is only for 3 hours or permit holder so not much use. Room was nice and spacious however the shower was slightly awkward due to the shower head not staying fixed Overall good stay however parking was not the most ideal with having to pay an extra £10 more than advertised

The comfiest hotel bed I have slept on in a long while, spacious room (perfect for an overnight stay after a late night party), bathroom was spacious enough and had all the basic essentials needed. Would deffo stay again!

The washing basin was a small size one and there was no other surface area to put stuff except the windowsill at the other end above the toilet. No cup was provided to brush my teeth, and I had to use the cup for tea and coffee. No hand towel was provided. I had to use the bath towel to dry my hands after washed. There was no bedside cabinet on the right-hand side of the small double bed. There was no other table area to put stuff except the small kettle/tea/coffee area. There was no hair dryer and wardrobe in the room. This was the Deluxe Double Room I booked?? There is no restaurant in the hotel. The parking charge in Hotels.com website was £5 per day. On my arrival day, the hotel said £15 per day. I just parked my car off street around the area. Overall, this hotel should be a two-star hotel, not three-star. I am disappointed.

In realtà più che in albergo è una casa, in cui questi signori molto cortesi affittano le stanze. La camera a quattro letti, e meno male dato che il primo aveva le molle che uscivano dal materasso… il bagno piccolo ma pulito. Si parcheggia comodamente in strada a pochi passi.

We left a day early due to not enjoying our stay and the staff charged us extra for parking and took a waiver fee, very disappointing.

Not sure this should be described as a hotel or guest house. Felt a bit like a hostel

Property and facilities needs to be update. My family and I had issues with bedbugs bites. However the staff were polite and helpful.

Not as advertised. Advertised as 1 double, 1 single bed, not the case. The room comes with a very small (I'm 5' 6" and didn't fit on it) bed settee. Very noisy, comings and goings all through the night. Not the best idea to put the "family" room next to the front door. No shelf to put toiletries on.

The apartment was clean and exactly what we was looking for as it was just a base for us to sleep and shower. The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits. If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around. Yes i would stay there again.

It was ok and not far from shoos

The room stunk waited 2 days for towels will never stay there again
