영국 갬성 느껴보려고 사진보고 예약했는데...
갬성은 있었으나 팔을 잃었...
엘베없는 좁은 계단에 캐리어 들고 옮겨야해서 고생스러웠어요
직원분들은 친절했고 좁은 방에 비해 청결했습니다
밤도착이라 패딩턴역 근처라고 하여 1박 잠만 청하려고 예약했는데 웃픈 추억을 만들었네요
짐은 1층에 보관도 가능해요!

일단 패딩턴역과의 거리가 가까워서 편리했습니다만 그게 전부입니다. 제일 윗층(6층)에 묵었는데 엘베가 없어서 대형 캐리어 가지고 가시는 분은 많이 힘드실겁니다. 그리고 둘째날 체크아웃하려고 짐정리하는데 지난밤에 먹고 싸두었던 쿠키를 쥐가 쏠아서 구멍이 나있고 가방안에 쿠키 가루가 널려 있어서 많이 놀랐습니다. 쥐와 같이 자고 싶은 분들께 추천합니다...ㅜㅜ

상당히 충격적인 호텔이다. 일단 난 해외출장으로 짐이 많은 상태였지만 나에게 4층을 주었다. 하지만 여기는 엘리베이터는 없다. 그리고 올라 가는 계단의 폭이 점점 좁아져서 나중에는 케리어조차 지나갈수 없었다.
그리고 난 초겨울 11월에 방문 했는데 내방에 난방은 안되었다. 너무나 추웠다 다행히 온수는 나왔다.
침대는 1명이 겨우 누을수 있는정도이며 스프링 침대로 스프링이 내 등에 다 느껴졌다.
문 시건장치가 없어서 잘때 불안 했었다.
직원들은 친절하고 체크아웃하고, 짐은 보관해줬다.

Rooms were clean, tidy and high spec. Comfortable beds. Sad there was no tea/coffee making in the room and it was shared Kitchette in the hallway. Great location for ease of access to underground and central London. We unfortunately stayed when there was an England match on and our room must have been next to a pub/bar as it was super noisy until late. Singing could be heard through the walls! Could also hear the trains under us a lot. Not great if you’re a light sleeper. No fan in the room either. Friends on the top floor said it was quieter but a lot hotter up there but they did have a fan.
Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Overall, the stay was okay. The location was great, but the room was unbelievably hot overnight. The fan provided was broken and wouldn’t run properly, and although we left the windows open, they had been closed when we returned, making it impossible to cool the room. We ended up having to wet towels just to keep cool and had a pretty sleepless night.
We also had to wait until exactly 2:00 pm to check in, which felt unnecessarily rigid.

The size and equipment of the room/hotel was according to the price, and we had a lovely stay at St. David’s in Paddington. The hotel is situated superbly close to the Paddington station, many restaurants, and Hyde Park. It was over 30 degrees celcius outside under our stay, and the lack of air-conditioning in the room, situated right under the roof, was making sleeping at night kind of difficult.
But all things considered, we were very happy with our stay at St. David’s.

We normally book a hotel near Paddington if we’re off on holiday & taking a flight from Heathrow. Although this hotel is perfect for Paddington train station the lack of a lift would stop us from booking here unless other provisions for storing luggage is available. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

It was quite hot in the room I had due to the weather / heatwave. There was a fan but no air-conditioning or easy access to cooler spaces.
The room would probably be fine in cooler weather / times of the year. Fortunately, I was mainly using it just as a bed for the night as I had lots of other things planned for my 2 days in London.

Had a booked this as price was reasonable for an overnight stay on a family trip. We stayed on room 1414, layout a little quirky you walk into the bathroom. Basement room, but had a little outside area so didn’t feel dark. Coffee area just outside the room(plant based milk not my thing). Room really clean. My only comment is that you can hear the tube rumble for most of the night but get that this is out of the hotels control.

Gut gefallen hat mir die Nähe zum Bahnhof. Das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber, aber die U-Bahn war zu spüren. Das Fenster ließ sich nur wenig öffnen. Es war sehr warm im Zimmer und das Lüften dadurch schwierig.
Es gab im Treppenhaus einen Wasserkocher mit einem Angebot an Tee und Kaffee.
Unglücklich fand ich, dass das sehr kleine Einzelzimmer im zweiten OG lag, die Toilette und Dusche dazu aber im vierten OG.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Gepäck konnte nach dem Check-out aufbewahrt werden.

Location was perfect. The room was clean. Everyone was so welcoming. The room on the ground floor was small but nice. The train noise and lack of elavator was bad but they were all mentioned in hotel details, it was not a surprise. The hotel was all good for a maximum two day stay. No regrets at all.
