세인트 데비즈 호텔

상당히 충격적인 호텔이다. 일단 난 해외출장으로 짐이 많은 상태였지만 나에게 4층을 주었다. 하지만 여기는 엘리베이터는 없다. 그리고 올라 가는 계단의 폭이 점점 좁아져서 나중에는 케리어조차 지나갈수 없었다. 그리고 난 초겨울 11월에 방문 했는데 내방에 난방은 안되었다. 너무나 추웠다 다행히 온수는 나왔다. 침대는 1명이 겨우 누을수 있는정도이며 스프링 침대로 스프링이 내 등에 다 느껴졌다. 문 시건장치가 없어서 잘때 불안 했었다. 직원들은 친절하고 체크아웃하고, 짐은 보관해줬다.

Leider kann ich keine allzu gute Bewertung abgeben. Wir waren zwar nur für eine Nacht dort, aber das hat leider auch schon gereicht. Die Zimmergröße war ausreichend und es war sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für sie tut es mir auch ein bisschen leid, dass das Zimmer nicht überzeugen konnte. Das Hotel ist recht verwinkelt und man gelangt über einen sehr sehr kleinen Vorraum in eines von drei Zimmern, die davon abgehen. Geöffnet werden sie noch altmodisch mit großem Schlüssel und beim Schließen der Tür im Zimmer schiebt sich der Riegel in das Schloss- keine weitere Möglichkeit, noch einmal drüberzuschließen oder das Zimmer anders zu sichern. Das Zimmer war unheimlich warm (wir hatten zu unserer Reise 30 Grad), roch abgestanden und muffig und das Fenster ließ sich nur ca. 10 cm öffnen in einen vielleicht 4 qm großen Innenhof. Man schaut also nur auf Mauern. Und Luft kommt dadurch keine ins überhitze Zimmer. Die Geräuschkulisse nachts war enorm, wir haben kaum schlafen können. In den Nachbarzimmern hat man wirklich alles mitbekommen, wenn eine andere Tür geschlossen wurde klapperte unsere . Die Fotos auf der Website entsprechen den Räumlichkeiten, es ist nur alles viel abgewohnter, als dargestellt.

Positif points: the location and the room was clean. Négatif points: it was hot with no AC and too noisy. We can hear the train or metro until 11h30pm and the doors clapped every time someone goes in his room.

Disappointed in that no porter was available on my arrival to carry my heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. (And I left my heavier suitcase in the reception storage area). Fortunately, at checkout a housekeeper saw me leave my room and carried my suitcase down to reception. I do think in the promotions/ads for this hotel there should be a strong statement about it being a 3-storey walk-up especially for seniors like myself. Otherwise, I love this hotel and this has been my 3rd year staying there. (Always had porter assistance on past visits).

Very good location near Paddington train station. The staff was accommodating to let us bring our luggage early and store it for us until we checked in later. Same the day we checked out — we could leave our luggage there while we did some sightseeing before our train left. The park across the street was a great place to eat lunch! (Carry-out). We would stay there again if we had similar travel options plans.

Great location and price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I love the sparkling water on tap in the lobby.

Great location a very short walk from the Paddington tube station.There is tree lined Norfolk Square out front. Rooms are smallish but very comfortable.

パティントン駅に近く便利　エレベータが無いため大変だけど割り切って使えばよい。冷蔵庫なし　空調は扇風機のみ（6月宿泊でしたが扇風機で十分涼しかった）　トイレ、シャワーありの4階に泊まりました。周辺2時ころまでファストフードの店がやっています。

The good: It’s very close to Paddington station in a pretty square with lots of dining options. The room has a very good shower. The bad: Rooms are tiny and cramped. Bathroom sink is very small. There’s no air conditioning so you’ll need to use the fan they provide on full blast and open the window wide all night. The doors slam so guests returning late will wake you up when they enter their rooms. THERE IS NO LIFT (elevator) and you may have to carry your bag up 3 or 4 very narrow, steep, curvy flights of stairs.

Lovely interior decor. That’s why we picked the place. No air conditioning is tough for Americans. And they have a strange policy with room keys: they don’t trust you to leave the building with them, so you have to leave it at the 24 hour concierge and request it back when you return (they never asked for ID). Pretty friendly staff, though, and great proximity to the train lines, and the wallpaper is nice.

Great staff, great rooms, great location.

Excellent location, lovely staff and clean/tidy room; good for a day or two but probably wouldn't choose as a base for a long visit. No elevator and a lot of narrow stairs, no tea/coffee etc in room, shower wasn't great (think a washer had broken on the attachment also)

Our stay was great. The rooms and interior of the hotel was cute and loved the park across the way. Loved how close restaurants were and the near by train station as well.

El hotel está bien, Las habitaciones son pequeñas

Fint og enkelt hotell som ligger super sentralt i Paddington. Veldig lett å komme seg rundt fra hotellet. Var litt støy på natta fra gata, men det må man kanskje forvente når man bor så sentralt. Sengen var litt hard.
