What a lovely time we had at the Belfry. It was our first time there and we stayed in the Tennyson room which had lovely views of the countryside and a feature stained glass window. On arrival, we were met by Neil who showed us to our room which was very clean and comfortable, with toiletries, dressing gowns and tea and coffee making facilities provided. Fresh milk and fruit juice were available at all times. A great choice of breakfast options were available and the food was excellent. Neil and Sarah are great hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. All in all we had a great time and we will certainly revisit. Definitely recommended.

My room was very clean. The breakfast in particular was excellent. Good quality cereals available, and an excellent cooked breakfast. Obviously uses good quality produce, including good quality tea, always a bonus. We’d definitely stop here again.

Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Superb views across to the hills behind the village. Very nice toiletries provided and excellent tea/coffee/hot chocolate in room facilities with biscuits! I really enjoyed the comfortable residents lounge which was unexpected but a nice place to relax and read a book (motor racing or vehicle enthusiasts will enjoy the book selection). The breakfast was very high quality with local Ingredients and beautifully presented. Gluten free and vegetarian options were available. We would happily stay again. Only slight downside is the church bells which chime all through the night (why?). The proprietors very thoughtfully provided ear plugs but if the windows are open these are insufficient against the bells which provide an alarm clock on the hour, every hour throughout the night. Keeping the windows closed would probably alleviate this but if you like fresh air at night and are a light sleeper it might be difficult to get a good nights sleep which is a shame as the beds are so comfortable. We would definitely stay again though as The Belfry is very good value and extremely well appointed. There is a pub literally across the road which serves food on some evenings (think it was Wednesday to Saturday during our visit). We ate there and it was very convenient to be able to walk there, friendly and reasonably priced pub grub options.

A beautiful building, in a perfect setting. Very clean and tidy, with excellent amenities. Host was very friendly, and breakfast was great. Would certainly recommend 👍👍

Breakfast ok , fruit pot delicious, not much choice other than full english or the ingredients of fill english,or smoked salmon room was lovely, just no interaction from owners other than shouting your name through the breakfast hatch or rushing clearing tables while still eating. Property up for sale so maybe they've lost the joy in hosting

The breakfast was awesome made from largely locally sourced products. The managers were very friendly, welcoming and polite.

Beautiful building, nice large room, super comfortable mattress, duvet and pillows. Lovely little touches like earplugs (yes the church clock chimes through the night, I didn’t hear it but my husband did), make up remover pads and shower caps. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Super friendly people, and the communal fridge under the stairs with milk and juices to help yourself to is a really thoughtful addition.

The belfry has lots of history and is a really old building with old stained traditional leaded glass. A must stay for anyone who likes this type of building We had a really nice stay, room was nice and clean and breakfast was great 5 star for me

A really lovely night's stay. Friendly and quick check in. Warm and comfortable room, beautifully furnished. And an amazing shower! Breakfast was fantastic, a very good selection which was freshly cooked to order. There is a friendly pub over the road which serves basic, but tasty food in the evenings. All in all highly recommended. We will definitely be returning.

Excellente. Bon acceuil. Chambre avec tous ce qu'on attends d'une grande hôtel! Petit-dejeuner super aussi. Très calme environnement aussi. Charmant endroit.

The hosts were a lovely couple very helpful and made us very welcome The room was well decorated and extremely clean.With a good supply of sachets for hot drinks and a fridge downstairs where we could help ourselves to milk and juice.And the breakfast was excellent.Would definitely stay there again and recommend them to family and friend.
