A very enjoyable stay. The room is in need of a little updating (bathroom) but for the price we paid with breakfast, we thought it excellent value. Staff friendly and efficient. Evening meal was excellent (and huge!).

A lovely rural hotel set in beautiful scenery with gorgeous views and a high standard of cleanliness.
The staff are fantastic, especially Lee who was attentive to your breakfast needs and was always so warm and friendly.
He also gave us lots of recommendations of what to do and where to go. We can’t rate him highly enough. He was also a hit with my daughter who enjoyed the chats.
Lots of parking available, great food, hearty breakfasts with locally sourced produce, first class staff, large, comfortable and homely rooms. What more could you ask for?
We most definitely recommend after a fab weekend in West Cumbria!

Really friendly welcome at check in, and the lady serving the breakfasts was very friendly and efficient. We ate at the pub in the evening and the food was good. Breakfast was also very good. Room was clean and comfortable, but very small for the price paid (I really missed having a bedside table on my side of the bed) and the ensuite was clean but in need of updating - nothing like the photos on the website! The pub was super quiet at night - no noise from drinkers or other residents etc.
The pub itself was lovely - really nicely decorated with plenty of alternative seating (armchairs, tables, picnic benches outside, banquettes inside etc). All in all a good place to stay.

Our room was disappointingly small - hubby and I had to actively avoid bumping into one another as we moved around. Bed was OK, the en-suite also very small but the shower was good.
The breakfast was quite good, but nothing special. One member of staff was helpful in regards to my dietary requirements.
On the whole the inn is in need of a good refurbishment as it looks tired and is showing its age. I think we’ve realised that as accommodation is at a premium within the Lake District, a 3* hotel/inn doesn’t get you much and that we would look at 4* minimum next time

Initially was a little bit put off by the car park when we turned up. The outside of the pub looks okay, but as soon as you get inside it has the old pub feel at the back of bistro feel so you can sit where you want. The staff that were working on the night when we stayed absolutely fantastic, couldn’t have asked for better Service with a smile and a joke. The bedrooms were okay but for the price, pretty good.

Loads of parking in a very pretty place.
Typical Lakes rooms that great in a proper old coaching inn.

Easy check-in, good varied menu, excellent food. Bedrooms desperately need some TLC. Towels & bed linen nice & clean.
Booked a deluxe room (room 19) to find a big hole in the ceiling from a previous leak. Mentioned to landlord who loosely offered us another room but didn't follow through then joked with another guest that it was added character.
Lee, the morning host is a lovely chap, quite knowledgeable about the mountains.
The pub side of the Bridge Inn is great, bedrooms need updating.

Downstairs in the pub and restaurant i cannot fault it, the place is well maintained and clean. The bar is well stocked however it was very busy with only one staff working. Food was excellent and a great variety of choice. Breakfast was limited but the full English was brilliant. Upstairs really needs a refurbishment, the rooms are dated and tired, having said that it was clean and water/ coffee refreshed each morning.
