체크인 할때 1층 펍으로 들어가서 이름만 말하고 객실로 안내되어 당황하긴 했지만 객실이 상당히 깨끗하구요, 욕실이 미친듯이 깨끗했어요. 후기에 만족도가 10점 만점인데는 이유가 있는거였어요. 웨이머스역에서 내리면 그냥 코앞이 숙소라 위치상으로는 더할나위 없구요. 숙소에서 코너만 한번 꺾으면 바로 해변입니다. 조식도 영국 여행하는 동안 먹은 음식 중 제일제일제일 맛있었어요!!!! 이곳 숙소 때문에라도 웨이머스에 다시 한 번 더 놀러갈 생각입니다. 다들 멀리서 온 저에게 친절하게 대해줘서 고마웠어요!!!

Lovely place and lovely people.

Very well situated for the theatre and all amenities . Seperate front door to access the rooms so don't have to walk though the bar. Only drawback we were on the top floor and no lift

Friendly staff, great breakfast and the cleaners coming around every day to make the beds and fresh towels. For the price and location it was great. Definitely book again.

Very good breakfast included in the price,but not mentioned when booking.Reported bathroom light was not working properly (room 17) to 2 members of staff but still not working when we left,apart from that the room was clean warm and very quiet we enjoyed our stay everything within walking distance

I had a lovely stay. The owners/staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Even though it’s connected to a pub you couldn’t hear a thing. The bed was comfy and the ensuite bathroom was gorgeous The only negatives are, I couldn’t leave my window open as there was an easily accessible large ledge right outside and the window could be opened fully from the outside if left open so I didn’t feel safe to leave open. The parking is a small walk (2 mins) and you have to park in a loading bay to check in and then get the parking permit which wasn’t fully explained when I booked. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff rooms clean light bright breakfast nice served quickly but if you have any mobility issues not the place to stay lots of stairs I would say it's more of a pub with b&b accomadation not a hotel but overall no problems everything ticked the boxes & close to everything seafront short walk away very good for train station & buses & taxi office 2 doors up lots of convenience stores around

Lovely clean hotel

Very reasonably priced, good location and couldn’t fault the breakfast and service. The rooms could do with having fans in them tho, as it was very warm at night.

We had a lovely one night stay at the Clifton. The staff were lovely, room was nice and clean and it was just a couple of minutes walk to the beach! Breakfast was tasty too. Great for the price.

Average very basic what you would expect for the money

Can’t lie, I was nervous about this stay and worried after reading some of the reviews that when coming down with my child I may have made a big mistake but oh my god how wrong my initial perception was. The pub was lovely and homely, the lady who checked us in couldn’t have been more helpful and showed us to our room. The twin room we stayed in was lovely and clean And we had loads of room to move about. The room also contained sky tv which my daughter loved as she was able to put Cartoon Network on this morning before we got up, we only stayed 1 night but if we had stayed longer it had enough storage facilities to cover staying much longer. Despite karaoke being on at the pub once we went to bed we heard nothing and no noises from outside with the window shut. Beds were clean and comfy and me and my daughter had a great nights sleep. Breakfast next day was lovely and Jon who served us was super helpful, we were even allowed to keep our luggage at the pub when we checked out so we can go back to it later when going home. All in all I’m actually disappointed I’ve never visited it stayed here before. Don’t be put off by what you read, this was a home from home place, clean, tidy, with friendly locals. I’m actually looking forward to coming back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The staff are lovely! The shower room spacious. Delicious cooked breakfast! Clean, quiet, and friendly, I would stay here again. A 2-minute walk to the beach, softest sand I ever felt, lots of grocery shops and restaurants very close nearby.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early in the rain. The owner happened to be in the pub, let us register early and changed our room to a first floor ( still stairs) but doable. Lovely English breakfast.

The room was clean and staff very helpful. The metal bed were very comfortable but very noisy when you moved.

Nice pub and food and shops close by and a short walk to the beech
