The Hotel was very cosy, lots of “stuff everywhere” on the walls etc, so very individual if that’s your thing. Room was small but had everything, staff were polite and efficient, food good etc.

Lovely relaxing overnight stay. Stayed in a ‘Splendid’ room. Comfortable bed and reasonably spacious. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly.

Christmas break to unwind and relax at this busy time and it was fantastic also sat looking at the moon outside in the jacuzzi which was extra special. The evening meal was delicious and couldn’t fault anything. A lovely breakfast the next day finishing off a perfect stay. Thank you all.

Amazing! Best hotel and spa I’ve been to! Thoroughly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at the Elms for a one night stay as a birthday treat. The hotel is a beautiful building set in pretty park grounds. There was ample parking. Check-in staff were brilliant! Very friendly and professional. The gentleman helped us carry our luggage to the top floor which could be a bit of a hike for less mobile people or someone who struggles with stairs. The Spa area is very quirky and has everything you need to relax for a few hours. The outdoor jacuzzi is a nice touch. We had a wonderful meal in the Badger Bar and Grill. The quality of the food was amazing and the service was first class! My wife and I were very impressed with how professional and friendly the young serving staff were throughout our 3 course meal. It makes so much difference to have attentive and pleasant staff! breakfast the next morning was also excellent with plenty of choice and a different set of staff who were equally as good as the previous dinner shift. Overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

The Elms is a unique Boutique hotel with a full vision of beauty & fabulous interior design. A peaceful, relaxing stay with friendly, helpful staff. The Greenhouse Spa pool was the perfect addition to spend half a day soaking in the jacuzzi and reading. A must see hotel and experience

A real hidden gem, amazing decor, great service, fantastic food and a lovely spa. Everything was perfect, staff were really welcoming and helpful & the breakfast was one of the best I have ever eaten. Will certainly be returning !

Beautiful countryside location, decor, food, amenities top notch, staff offered an excellent service, spa was tranquil. Would definitely recommend if you fancy luxurious self care and surroundings

We had a gorgeous stay at The Elms. We stayed in the coach house, as it was the last room available, and were delighted to find the coach house had two outdoor stand alone bathtubs! The food was amazing, the building & decor was stunning, the staff were great. If I could offer a couple of small comments for constructive feedback – in the spa, both of the steam rooms smelt very musty, like damp. We didn't sit in them because it was very off-putting. The sauna however was stunning! More saunas should have windows! We had a lovely relaxing time watching the birds. However, there was a big mark on the window on the first day where it looked like someone's back had been pressed against it. No big deal, but it was disappointing to see it still there on the second day – made it feel like the space clearly hadn't been cleaned. The spa was so stunningly gorgeous, and the indoor outdoor jacuzzi was great. Unfortunately every day all of the seats and loungers around the pool were covered in towels and robes, even though there were hardly any people in the spa area. A shame that we could never sit and relax. My partner had the Gaia Bespoke Massage, which she said was amazing – but, oddly, nothing about it seemed to be bespoke. No asking what she would like or where to focus or what kind of techniques. A nice massage but not what we were expecting. These are tiny comments, and really only noticeable because of just how great the hotel and spa are. Definitely recommend.

A very nice setting with very good decoration. Rooms are nice but our room had no water for most of the stay. In a room that sleeps 6 you expect to be able to have more than 2 showers. No maintenance on site to resolve so we had to walk shampoo in hair to the spa to shower there. Not ideal for this standard of hotel. Sounds like they are aware of this issue but continue to sell the suite regardless. Be careful.

Beautiful, peaceful, well designed and curated hotel. Very accommodating staff. Great spa, great food. Our only bit of feedback would be that it would be great to have loungers inside the spa, rather than chairs and sofas - but a small issue. Fantastic treatment rooms and service - we had the best massages. We would definitely recommend the Elms to friends, and we have already

Great building, surroundings and spa. Brilliant food and drink. Too many dogs roaming the place...

Hotel was lovely and clean. Ate lunch in the bar which was lovely. Dinner service was very slow and food could have been improved upon.

Very nice and hardworking staff. They ran out of pastries at breakfast and they seemed short-staffed.

Lovely spa, friendly staff and excellent massages

Amazing hotel with amazing decoration in all areas. Spa area lovely. Restaurant served excellent dinner and breakfast. We stayed in room 3 which was amazing. Every staff member was incredibly polite and courtesy. And...the car park has 2 free electric charging points. Result. We stayed for 1 night and definitely stay again.
