Cold room, no extra heating available

Very welcoming hotel, with clean rooms. Maybe a little dated, but very spacious and has everything you need and more. Great breakfast and a very good bar and menu. A great location also..

Great location, very friendly staff, the room we had was massive with a living and dining area, the pub food and breakfast was lovely 👌

For a 1-night stay this hotel had everything we needed. Central location, easy parking, a spacious room with a comfy bed (and the added bonus of a sea view) and a tasty breakfast in the morning. My wife and I visit Torquay a few times and have stayed in most of the hotels in this price bracket - the Heritage has to be one of the best yet.

Beautiful room very clean, everything working, staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. We ate at the hotel and the food was delicious.

Room number 4 had an awful view of the car park and felt like you were in a goldfish bowl. If you closed the curtains the lighting was too dim to see anything. The floorboards above creaked all night until 3am then I could hear snoring and talking and toilet flushing as if I was in the same room with them! I had no sleep at all. Shouting started about 2am and to be honest I felt shaky and couldn’t sleep. I was alone so I found it intimidating. The shower tray wouldn’t drain away. The tv blocked the mirror. The bed squeaks everytime you move. The whole room is in need of a refurb, The location is quite good and the breakfast was nice. I’d never go back there again.

The room was dirty, carpet & an extremely smelly blanket especially, a very make shift feeling about the room, with a very old window that would not close.

The view was great, and the hotel was generally clean and friendly , breakfast was great with a lovely selection I asked for a room on the floor level with the ebntrance and bar etc because of my mobility problems, but I was given one down stairs, the constant using the stairs in and outside was painful and wearing, lots more f guests were not good with mobility so I think at least one grab rail in the showers would be advisable, I felt quite unsteady

Very last minute booking but did not disappoint. Beautiful room very spacious overlooking the bay. Plenty of coffee facilities and mini toiletries . Comfortable bed and excellent location, value for money with included breakfast

En-suite door gets stuck , bed uncomfortably dated room but breakfast was v good and staff excellent

A splendid looking building. The room I was in was overlooking the parking area. It had a view unless a tall vehicle parked in the space in front of the windows. A comfortable room but noisy. There didn't seem to be much sound insulation between rooms. I could hear phone conversations, music and rowdy children being entertained. The room did smell a little - not sure what it was but it smelled a little unpleasant. After the first day I no longer noticed it. If I stayed there again I would ask for a different room and hope it was better. The onsite restaurant food was quite good. I enjoyed the daily included breakfast. A small set of choices, though.

Reasonable stay. Big, clean room, a little bit of a strange smell. Staff friendly. Disappointed that it cost to use the pool, did not see this on hotel details. Also stated that breakfast was included, but was quite prescriptive - 5 options and had to choose one. Would have preferred more flexibility. Lovely views. Room quiet and dark at night.

Bonne étape à Torquay, chambre avec vue mer, accès rapide au bord de mer, restaurants à proximité, parking gratuit (c'est tellement rare en GB...) Pas de climatisation, c'est peut être le seul bémol vu la chaleur du moment

Excellent breakfast and nice staff

Double Bed sinking in the middle. Had a family room with 2 double and a single. Room was spaces and big, very lean, room cleaning also verry good.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was sooooo hot due to all glass fronted room which had been in direct sunlight all day with the curtains open. Asked for another room which was provided without fuss. 5 min walk (max) to beach & bars, harbour & marina about 10 mins away.
