Fabulous stay at the heyford again. This is our 3rd time. Always a lovely vibe, food is lovely , and plenty of activities to do.

The Heyford had positves and negatives for me. Positives 1) Michael. Nothing was too much for him. He is personable and did his utmost to make sure I had a pleasant stay with you, so big thanks to him. 2) The room. I stayed in the deluxe room and it is a big spacious room with a comfortable bed and balcony. 3) Food. After reading the reviews, I was expecting to be let down by the food, but everything I had was delicious. Negatives 1) I'm pedantic and felt perhaps the room could be cleaner. 2) I came for my birthday and mentioned this twice to the hotel, but I didn't even get a handwritten card wishing me well, which I thought was a shame. 3) Slippers. Paying £400 a night for a room and not getting slippers is quite wild.

The free Parking at the hotel was simple to register for after arrival. The room was spacious and the property quiet and intimate with just a handful of rooms. The staff are lovely, the housekeeping team were so chatty and welcoming too. The bathroom was also modern, spacious and having a bath in a hotel room at this price point is nowadays sadly a rare find, so fantastic to see. Pillows were a little flat for my liking, but sure there could have been other options if I'd have asked the staff. Only observation was, you can hear the bowling ally below when laid in bed, but this stops mid to late evening, so wont go on late to upset your sleep. The property is also super close to the M40 and just 10 mins from Bicester Village too if you fancy just basing yourself there for some retail therapy one day. Nice property and maintained to a high standard. The Baton restaurant was also well lit and cosy at night, despite so much glass. Would stay again if in the area..

The hotel, staff, location and food could not be faulted. We were visiting friends who had moved to the village and they recommended us to stay at The Heyford. We are DEFINITELY coming back. Nice hotel even in a strange place on a main road. Very modern & clean but food not the best. Was pretty disappointed with my evening meal. Breakfast was much better to be fair but the breakfast service was shocking.

Nice, fresh and clean. Quite spacious, but would’ve been nice with a small table (might be due to extra bed that we didn’t have one). The auto light on in the bathroom was a nuisance waking you up completely if you had to go during the night. OK breakfast.

What a great hotel - perfect base for us to visit Oxford and Bicester village Room was really spacious.- great mini bar and very large bathroom Beds were very comfortable . My son loved the Bowling alley and we had a great meal in the bar

Had a really lovely stay at The Heyford. The staff are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Our room was lovely, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony, very clean and comfortable. Whilst there aren’t any facilities outside of the hotel other than Sainsbury’s opposite we felt this didn’t matter as you can drive to so many fabulous places. The hotel has a bar with drinks and food, pool tables, bowling alleys and a lovely restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, great service- we loved our time here

Modern & clean. Staff were friendly & efficient. Dinner was good & breakfast excellent. Bed was comfortable. Didn't like lack of radio in room & would have liked more storage drawers. Flashing light on smoke alarm (?) in room ceiling was a bit of a nuisance at night.

The property was exceptional in appearance, staff were very welcoming , friendly and helpful in all areas. Food we had for dinner in evening was so good and the breakfast we ate in the morning was of an exceptionally high standard. Parking available outside which was free was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.
