We came here as we wanted to spend the weekend in york but didnt want to stay in the centre so choose to stay further out. So glad we did it was really peacefull not to far away from the centre of york. The motel was lovely as soon as you walked in you could smell the cleanliness. It was so clean and fresh. Beautifully decorated. The pictures do not do it justice. I would 100% recommend whether your a family or a couple. Plus the chinese restaurant/pub at the end of the drive is amazing and definitely worth a visit.

Chinese restaurant just a minute walk away which was really good. There was a fish and chip place too but unfortunately it was closed while we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here though, nice safe friendly little village with a great community shop five minute walk away.

Less than half hour drive to York. Love the room. Easy parking. Chinese restaurant right outside the entrance and the food was delicious. The toilet seat was loose. The tea cups were stained. Apart from that we were quite happy staying.

Stayed for a weekend visiting York, 15 minute drive to a park and ride into the city centre.

Disappointed to learn on arrival that there was no breakfast which I understood was included in the price. No other complaints a great place to stay. Making the bathroom a wet room with a shower chair and handrails would improve it.
