Lovely overnight stay. Cosy bar area and friendly staff. The bar prices were very reasonable and the breakfast hampers were a nice change from a cooked breakfast

A lovely warm welcome and great service. Food in the resturant was great and the rooms were wonderful with very comfortable beds.

The room was lovely, the bed was comfy and the staff were excellent! There’s a warm welcoming atmosphere to the place, we were made to feel at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hence we booked for an extra night. Thank you!

A lovely warm welcome from staff, cosy room, great breakfast hamper. A real gem of a place for an overnight stay to break up a long drive.

Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay in Shropshire. Lovely room and nice bar/restaurant. Lovely unecpected breakfast included in our room. We'd definitely stay again.

Sadly this place needs a fair bit of work doing to it. Stayed in a room on one of the hottest days of the year (not their fault obviously!) but no fan available and also blinds only covered 2/3 of the window so noisy all night then the room was bright from about 4:30am. Did flag this to staff but no-one came to try and fix the blinds or provide a fan. Bathroom was very small and could hardly sit on the toilet due to close proximity to wall opposite. For the price I'd opt for something else next time.

The stay was pleasant the room was comfortable the free breakfast hamper very substantial and the facilities in the room included a fridge and ironing board. For the price this was very good.

Although the room and bathroom were small, they were comfortable and clean. The daily hamper for breakfast was a nice touch and the staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay of 3 nights and good memories of Shropshire.
