Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral am Hafen. Die wenigen Parkplätze sind behinderten Gästen vorbehalten. Ein gebührenpflichtiger öffentlicher Parkplatz ist 2 Minuten entfernt. Es ist ein altes Haus mit den üblichen Problemen, insbesondere ist es recht hellhörig und eng. Einen Fahrstuhl gibt es nicht, aber das sehr nette Personal hat unsere Koffer in die erste Etage getragen. Wir hatten Zimmer 4, die Größe und Ausstattung ist OK, aber das Bett war fürchterlich unbequem, es steht schief und rechts höher, sodass an ruhigen, erholsamen Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Das Zimmer geht nach hinten raus und hat keine schöne Aussicht. Zudem stellte sich abends heraus, dass es direkt über der Küche und deren Abluftanlage lagt. Während und noch lange nach der Betriebszeit des Restaurants konnte man das Fenster nicht öffnen, weil es intensiv nach (Brat-)Fisch roch und zudem bis spät der Lärm aus der Küche sehr störte. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals im Pub, Hotel und Restaurant.

Lovely room, sea view and excellent breakfast. We had big suitcases and it was a challenge getting them up and down the stairs. There is a big car park within a couple of minutes walk.

We had a great overnight stay. Beds were comfortable, shower good and the breakfast was lovely.

All round it was excellent. Great choice and quality for breakfast. Lovely staff. And if you stay here spend a couple of hours in the bar - the atmosphere is great and the decoration with the nautical theme is fantastic.

Cute and cosy inn! We enjoyed our stay here, and the food and drink was excellent. Staff were also great, and the location couldn’t be better. The only issue was a lot of noise coming through from other rooms, waking us up.

Lovely room small but adequate situated above a real old pub which was very welcoming no parking on site but a car park was within 150 metres fantastic English breakfast at very reasonable prices

Room was ok has definitely seen better days , bathroom was ok , bath took a while to drain , also had to wait 5 mins between flushes for the toilet to function , also so noisy with people just walking in the room above , not good for a decent sleep , excellent breakfast, excellent staff all very friendly, this is the fifth time I’ve stayed here

Quirky building with character. Loved the options at breakfast and the food in the restaurant. You can step straight out onto the harbour and enjoy a peaceful break.

Relaxing hotel, we were lucky to have a room with a perfect view of the harbour, cozy and friendly bar. Breakfast was amazing good quality food. Highly recommended!

Very quick and effective check-in. Bedroom was really clean and the beds were comfy. Lovely cooked breakfast and great bar for many evening drinks. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return in 2026 !!

I stayed in a single room on the top floor that was perfect for my needs - comfy bed, plenty of outlets, en suite, a window that opened, a small TV, a kettle, a desk. There are stairs and narrow hallways which might prove challenging for some, but the eclectic knick-knacks make it an interesting trip. The pub is small but has cozy side rooms, the dining area large enough with good breakfast options, and I also got a good pie for dinner one night. The location was perfect for taking a boat excursion or walking the small downtown area, and the (paid) parking area isn't too far away on the other side of the roundabout. (You can briefly stop in front on the inn to unload your luggage upon arrival, though!) The staff was great.
