Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, und nettes Personal. Eines der besten Frühstücke, die wir je hatten - mit großartigem Kaffee und frischen Produkten. Auch abends ein schöner Biergarten in friedlicher Atmosphere.
… einzig: das Zimmer war etwas warm, da die Woche heiß war und die Zimmer nicht mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet sind. Aber immerhin hatten wir Sonne in England :-)

Although the hotel was good in many areas (cleanliness, appearance, parking, breakfast) a room at this price point should have air conditioning. My bedroom was only equipped with a low powered small fan, and with inadequate airflow from the window it remained no lower than 27c all night.
I would also expect an EV destination charger at a hotel like the Pilgrim Inn.

Room lovely and cool - you could open the windows. Large room with coffee machine, water and biscuits. Good car parking. TV was not the best - could only view a couple of channels. Pillows were very soft and not to our liking , but this is personal preference. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful room, more than large enough for our family of 3. Extremely clean and well presented. The only thing I can suggest is to add a small fridge and nappy bin, given the room is marketed for families it would be handy.
Otherwise, staff were extremely friendly, room was very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the towel robes they provided! Would absolutely come and stay again at this gorgeous hotel.

The Pilgrim Inn is everything you're hoping for. Traditional setting, traditional vibe, and a team of staff that laugh hard, work hard, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is outstanding and we can't recommend the English Pea Ravioli highly enough. We stayed for a week and could have happily stayed longer. Something to note is that the bus stop is right at the Inn and you can get to Hythe, Southampton and other places cheaply and easily. They can accommodate larger parties or just a romantic couple. 10/10 and I'm sure we'll be back when we're in the area.

Really friendly staff & very clean everywhere which was great. House keeping staff were lovely & very helpful. Quite easily the cleanest place we have stayed in. Possibly some of the rooms were more style than substance as not practical in places. Some maintenance issues regarding loose tap in Room 3 . Do note : Avoid room 12 especially in hot weather as incredibly hot!! Poor ventilation & a pathetic fan which just blew around warm air. We asked to be moved after experiencing the worst night’s sleep ever! Happily there was a spare room on the ground floor.
Ground floor rooms are best in warm/ hot weather as a lot cooler.
I would return but would specify a ground floor room . Parking wasn’t an issue & food / breakfast was very good.

The room and hotel was very very clean. I came during the heatwave so the room was very hot although a fan was provided. The breakfast was top notch, with options provided for all dietary requirements. Very impressed.

What a beautiful place to stay. The room was lovely, clean and very well appointed. The staff were great and we had an anniversary and they kindly left a card! We had a drink in the pub and the atmosphere was brilliant. Breakfast was amazing - would definitely stay again

What would have been a perfect stay was sadly marred by broken down air con on the hottest day of the year.

Ordered a steak received barbecue ribs......really!!!!
Many occasions my wife Ordered a drink to get something completely different.

Would have given this hotel 5stars but for one thing.
Our lie ins were disturbed by noisy cleaning staff chattering loudly outside our room all morning. They were so loud that they woke us every morning with their catch up chats.
Otherwise everything was perfect...large rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and lots of parking.

Great location, 20 min drive Southampton and from New Forest for walks. Lovely old pub, beautifully clean and welcoming. We ate in the garden and enjoyed our Caesar salad and burgers. Accommodation is in separate thatched building to one side of the pub and was quiet. Twin room (2 single beds) was huge with large walk-in shower. Breakfast cooked to order plus cereals, pastries etc on buffet. Coffee brought to our table. Staff all friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Only slight negative was that we were woken by light around the curtains early in the morning. Thanks.
