The red lion was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were friendly and it was very clean. I was worried because we were in the cottage next to the pub that it could be loud, but it wasn't at all. I slept so well and they had really comfortable beds. The shower had good water pressure and the soaps they provided were lovely.
It was perfect and exactly what we expected from booking.
Thanks so much - will be back :)

The Red Lion is located in the wonderful countryside of Northamptonshire. The room we stayed in was the Napoleon room which did not disappoint. The front view with sheep roaming in the field was a joy to behold. The breakfast box in the room was excellent, having had a wonderful meal the night before. The stay was memorable and a return visit is a must.

Lovely room (in the end) and superb meal in the evening (one of the best this year). Lively convivial bar but let down by Hotels.com not making clear only certain rooms were pet friendly which lead to a bit of a stand off when checking in. Negotiated it in the end but you don't need that sort of grief when travelling.

I've stayed in this pub quite a few times, as have family nearby. The staff are always kind and helpful and the rooms are always clean and very comfortable. Top rating for a country pub!

The red lion was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were friendly and it was very clean. I was worried because we were in the cottage next to the pub that it could be loud, but it wasn't at all. I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. Rooms and all areas extremely clean. Staff always polite and friendly. Food always up to a high standard. It is a pleasure to stay here and can be highly recommended.
