Service is very good. We had some misunderstanding about dinner charging, but the manager, the gentleman, tackled this problem very kindly. Thank you so much. Dinner and breakfast are also delicious. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Close to all facilities but quiet, beautiful views an great location food good but did wait along time for it.staff really friendly had a real homely feel to it .

Breakfast could have been warmer.. Toaster not great. Pet friendly.Rooms quite a walk but got used to it. Not sure how older people went on sone regularly lost. Rooms clean, felt secure but on out last night extremely noisy at 2 am! Unsure why as wasn’t about to investigate. Should have been picked up somehow by staff. Overall a good stay. Location fab and ground perfect for pooch walking fist think and last thing at night 👍

Loved our stay good food good ambiance

Perfect location and beautiful setting. The pub was lovely and it was a great spot to hike from. We didn’t use our car during our stay. You could order off the menu for breakfast which was great. We would definitely stay here again

Lovely inn. Beautiful setting. Room was spacious but bathroom a little small in our room 36. Overall our stay was very good & food & breakfast options really good. Very friendly staff 😀

Cons: Non responsive to messages. We requested for an early check in- no response. We asked up to make up twin beds in one of our rooms, no response. Check in was also not the smoothest. We were just handed the keys and left to find our own rooms in a maze of a hotel. Would be nice if they had a dedicated check in desk and help with luggage etc and advise on where to park and how to access your room. Pros: The hotel was lovely and rooms were comfortable. Location was idyllic as well, surrounded by hills and farms and easy walk to Grasmere Village. Staff in the dining rooms/ bar was great as well.

Hotel was lovely. Room was perfect for a young family of 4, unfortunately the window in our room didn’t open which meant it did get quite warm on the evening and throughout the night. We found food and drink to be very expensive and would expect much better quality given the location and the price. Breakfast was great. Scores on the doors 3.5-4/5.

Hotel as described. 10 minutes walk into Grasmere. Free parking, although I doubt enough if hotel at capacity. Bus stop outside. Breakfast was nice & plenty of options. We had dinner one evening and it was good & good value. Dog friendly, in fact Luna felt bery welcome! We decline one days room clean in exchange for a couple of free drinks, that was a nice idea and encoraged reuse of towels etc All in all great stay

Food and atmosphere in the.pub was good. Room was very hot, 0nly a small window so very little air. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Room difficult to find and not much help from colleague I asked.

Lovely hotel, great food. Convenient location for hiking. Friendly stuff, definitely will come back. Really enjoy dinner and breakfast at restaurant.

Gorgeous hotel in the most stunning location. The staff were so freindly and helpful and the breakfast was also great.

I loved the location of this beautiful Inn. I got a warm welcome from the team and enoyed a delicious sunday roast while waiting for my room. Room 10 has a terrible view and noise from the aircon. It is spacious and nicely decorated with a large shower room. There is free parking, wifi and good facilities in the room. Breakfast is lovely and there is a wonderful beer garden

Great location for Grasmere and to get to several Wainwright’s and good hikes. Staff were fantastic and everything was spot on and made a very pleasant and relaxing stay!

Nos encantó la decoración del hotel y de la habitación. Las sabanas, cama y almohadas muy cómodas. La atención excelente. Muy bien ubicado cerca de los pueblos mas turísticos pero en las afueras para estar rodeados de vistas y vegetación.

Amazing stay! Clean and with some history too. Excellent location to all places we visited. Staff were really helpful when needed & pleasant. Food was a bit out of our budget but we did eat here & you can see why the quality of food was impeccable. When can we come back?
