Everyone was so friendly, not just in the Inn but the Village as a whole. The room was very comfortable, with only a short walk to the station, local walking spots & free on street parking straight across the road. We would come here again, thanks for a wonderful stay.

Simon was a great host at his property and made us feel very welcome. His staff were also very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.for them, making our stay so much more enjoyable. ( Hospitality at its best ! ) Hats off to you guys.🎩👍

It was only a one night visit (we were going to Longborough opera) and we did not eat or even breakfast there. So I can comment only on the room, which was fine with everything that you you would want, and the host who was very welcoming and solicitous. The Victoria cafe, close by, is excellent for breakfast.

Checked in around 9:00 pm and we were greeted by a drunk owner (remember this is also a pub!) then we were guided through the kitchen to our rooms upstairs which were dated and dirty. This is the first time that we had to block the door of the rooms because we felt unsafe.
Avoid at all costs!

Properly refurbished this could be a good hotel, but at the moment it is very poor.
The staff are very friendly it’s just a shame the property is good.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay, staff are fantastic, and attentive and kind, the room we stayed in was so comfortable we slept like a log 100 percent will we be back and most definitely be eating in the restaurant next time round as the food smelt and looked divine. 100 per cent recommend

The location in Morton-in-marsh was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for 2 nights. We ate in the pub and the food was good, although it's a shame they don't provide breakfast. The pub was very quiet and closed at 9.30pm so there was a lack of atmosphere. But it was fine as a base for a couple of days.

The Swan Inn is a hidden treasure. Simon is a great host and very warm and helpful. I had a delicious dinner prepared by Scott, the chef. The location is an easy walk from the train station, close to shops and restaurants.
