Very good stay which was near to the venue we were at the next day

Absolutely disgusting, the room was filthy!!!

Carpet not been hoovered for quiet a while i think . Made for a sleepless night i was booked in for 2 nights but booked out after the first one and went somewhere else for the 2nd night.

I was happy that I was allowed to check in 1 hour early. Unfortunately that is where the positives end, the villa express feels like a very tired hotel. Broken fixtures and fittings, dead flies in the light fittings and no soap in either of the 2 dispensers in the en-suite. cleanliness was an issue especially in the bathroom, I will not be returning

The property rated highly for cleanliness. However I found the property to be quite run down, not as clean as I’d have expected and overall poor in presentation- threadbare is how I’d describe it. An example is that the TV remote to a very small TV did not work and was sticky. I went to get new AA batteries from reception but they had only oneAAA battery. They didn’t offer to obtain any more. It was not what I expected from the reviews and how it was presented.

Stayed there a few times over the years . Good location for an over night stop etc. Clean and tidy over all. Friendly staff. It went down a bit a few years ago but seems to have been spruced up recently. Change of ownership? (The tv in the room had seen better days with occasional unresponsive controls. Wi-fi did not load up.)

On arrival I checked in and was shown my room. The bed was almost on the floor. The room was freezing cold and I spoke to reception and she came to the room and attempted to warm up. She was lovely. I went to the attached restaurant which is a steak house- they had NO steak. On returning to the room it was still freezing and there was no towels. I had to be moved. On the second room the heating worked. I was asleep and was woken by the sound of small feet scuffling around on what sounded like a hard surface. After the initial shock, I decided to check for droppings to confirm my suspicions there was mice, there was none seen but the sound went through the night. I therefore had no sleep!

Appears to be a former Premier Inn site. Large free parking area & located close to a main route to Blackpool & surrounding area. Rooms were of a reasonable standard, with all the usual facilities in a working condition, but needs a refurbishment. Bed firm, but comfortable, room clean, but carpet in need of a deep clean. No inhouse food other than a snack machine, but next to a "Smokehouse" restaurant, which was excellent. Overall of an acceptable standard for cost & convenient as an overnight stay.

It was clean and comfortable.Bar and restaurant next door.Very quiet and staff very attentive.

This hotel is ideal if you are staying and your fur baby needs to go with you, we had no-one to look after our baby. Not many hotels take in dogs so to find this one which was 20 mins away from the hospital for my operation. This hotel is not the cleanest of hotels but for one night and with your dog is fantastic.

Reception staff even though I’d payed for my room refused to let me take my luggage into room until I’d payed for my pup even though I’d more luggage and pup was in car room was far too hot shower was tiny not enough towels given definitely would not use again in fact still waiting on a refund for a room cancelled way before trip due to ill health of a fellow traveller In need of a upgrade desperately and staff training manners cost nothing

Although it was easy to park, you definitely needed a car to travel into Preston for our planned venue, cost of taxi &30.00 each way. All staff were very friendly, polite & helpful, room spacious & spotless. Would return, even though due to family foreseen circumstances we only stayed for one night, although we had paid for two

Friendly helpful nice hotel

The bedroom was small with broken furniture and mould in the shower. No effort was made to repair the furniture and no offer of an alternative room until it was too late. Housekeeping left dirty cups and insufficient towels for two guests during this four night stay. Accommodation directed at those working in the area.

Overnight stay to visit family. Stayed here many times and always received good service. Clean rooms and friendly receptionist.

First Time Here at Villa Express But There Is Much Better Accommodation Out There At a Better Price £ The Reception Staff Were Extremely Friendly and Helpful And Sam Was Such a Professional With Help and Advice Brilliant She is a Trye Asset But My Room Was Terrible Noises all Night From The Heating Radiators And The Shower Was Shocking Everything Fallen apart ,My Tip Avoid Room ( 6)
