Absolutely perfect stay and the breakfast was superb.

Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. Couldn’t fault it

Made very welcome by staff on what was an incredibly busy Sunday(Bluebird K7 week) Had a podcast overnight and it was proper!! Very cosy,peaceful aaand warm. When it went dark,it went dark! Loved it,had a fabulous sleep. Food was good,beer was cold..will be back

I stayed in one of the cabins and it was so lovely! Clean, cosy and quiet. There is another cabin right next door, and the campervans are just outside, but I didn't notice it at all. A few bits that looked a little neglected, I had to put the shower door seal back on, the bathroom heater had seen better days, and so had the blinds. Check in and check out were simple, and the staff were cheery and happy to help :)

No heating the small oil heater not sufficient. Had to ask for towels as the previous ones wouldn't be able to dry No top of coffee or milk etc No flexibility of the already booked table Some members of the team not very helpful

Nice rooms and the food/drink at the pub is first class too

Great base for exploring the Lakes. Pub rooms were good value. Welcoming lively pub/restaurant with good range of options and very generous portions! Plenty of free parking. All in all a great experience.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, the shepherds hut was clean and well equipped. The bed is quite high, so may not be great for people with mobility issues. There is a dog who barks constantly and is kept outside close to the huts, which made sitting out frustrating.

A wonderful experience in a secluded accommodation. Food at the pub is another plus, highly recommended.

We had a Wonderful stay in one of the Sheperds huts, brilliant facilties Pub food plentiful and tasty Great place for dogs. Could do with two outdoor chairs as there was only one.

We will be back.

All perfect! Friendly staff, excellent food, our little shepherds hut was perfect. Loved it! Ideal spot to climb up to Old Man of Coniston

Staff friendly, food excellent. Quiet, relaxing, would recommend especially if you wanted to walk and explore. Dog friendly too.

We stayed in a Shepherd's hut and it was great! Lovely location for going walking (only about 10min drive from a car park to go up old man coniston) Was super cosy and warm inside the hut, everything you need to prepare food, a tv to watch Netflix etc and bed was decent. It did get quite damp in there at night leaving the corners of the bed a bit wet in the morning but nothing too extreme. (Might be worse after more than 2 nights though.) The Wilson’s arms was a nice place for food and a drink in the evenings and the deli attached had everything you need. Would come back!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wilson’s arms the staff was so warm and friendly, staff was very accommodating when it came to the dining options too food was amazing

Had a lovely stay here recently, the staff were really great and very friendly, even allowing me to stay in my room later than the official check-out time as I was getting ready for a wedding. The room itself could have been a little cleaner and one of the lamps by the bed didn't work, but overall it was perfectly fine and more than clean enough for rooms above a pub :) The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while (especially after driving 7 hours to get there!). Breakfast the next morning was included in the price for the night, with a selection of both continental style and cooked options, my full English came out within 15/20 minutes of ordering and I had a proper, cafetière coffee. Very pleased and would definitely stay again if I'm back in the Lakes!
