The Woodvale is a pub with rooms. Our room was pleasant and was reasonably spacious. Bathroom had a shower and was very clean, although a little old. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the pub which served decent food. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel manager was very accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the stay, particularly because of the level of service. Great!

We had a fantastic stay at the Woodvale. The food was excellent and despite it being a very busy time (just a few days before Christmas so lots of big parties) we didn't wait too long for our meals. We had a lovely, en-suite family room with a sea view. There was a sofa and coffee table too which gave us another space to sit, rather than just the bed. Even though there was a busy bar downstairs, we couldn't hear anything upstairs in the bedroom. We weren't disturbed by any noise. A definite bonus when you need your 8 year old to go to sleep!! The staff were exceptional. As I said, we stayed just before Christmas so it was busy with locals and parties but nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was so welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Woodvale to anyone and we will be booking again for another stay here! Thank you Steve and the team!

All went well. Check in quick and smooth. food very good. very frieldy team , showed flexibility with check out etc.

Excellent location, accommodation and service

Nice property in good position. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room nice and clean. Over bath shower nice and powerful.Food in restaurant in the evening ok but far from fine dining. Some dishes ok but fish and chips a little tasteless. Breakfast was much better. Overall the price for bed and breakfast staying in a double room with seaview was very good.

We have used this property over several years and really like it. The staff are friendly and the rooms have been improved over the years. This year the Wifi has been upgraded and is far better. We stayed in room 5. The plumbing is good, but the shower head needs attention.

I yad eaten here in the past but this was our first time staying. Very generous and comfortable room with seaview and great breakfast options. Lovely walk from the hotel along the beach path into Cowes.Will definitely stay again.

Extremely good - all services excellent except room was a little noisy and could get very hot.

Fantastic location with Solent sunsets; great menu and good food served quickly and politely;decent room with good shower. Immaculately clean. Recommended to anyone staying on the IOW!

Staff were very very accommodating, particularly Molly who went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable.

Great food menu for lunch and dinner, great views and easy no cost parking. Breakfast arrangements in the week could be better - only one on when we were there , so a long wait. Staff are friendly and they make a good atmosphere in the pub.

The hotel is in a fabulous location with stunning sea views from the rooms and breakfast suite. The rooms were spotless, the food excellent and the service first class.
