We had a really comfortable if compact room which was all superbly clean and well maintained, also we had the privilege of meeting the marvellous manager Andy who is a superstar. Location is superb too and the breakfast in the linked Jubilee hotel was great and yummy. Absolutely would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely little hotel very close to the beach. Just as advice to others parking is free but is on the road so not necessarily close to hotel although there are loads of spaces. Also don't unload your car until you've checked in as you may need to walk down to another hotel to find someone (you can also call a number but it's literally a 30 second walk). These are just to give advice and didn't affect our stay at all

They need a cleaner so bad. I cant honestly understand how they think this level of hygiene is ok. The bed was slept in before we got there. It had not been changed since the last guest. There was crumpled sheets and hairs in the bed. The pillows smelt of sweaty hair and not washed. They also had stains on them. The bed was planks of wood screwed to the wall with a mountain of dust behind them. The carpet was absolutely disgusting and the room smelt of drains soon as you stepped in. The toilet and shower pictures speak for themselves. Not clean at all. This place needs a proper cleaners, sonone who will take a bottle of bleach into the room amd actually clean with it. Also the beds need stripping between each guest, how can you cut corners like that? Who is doing cleaning checks?? I could not subject my daughter to the stay so we left early. Horrific hygiene and report into local environmental health. Avoid!!!

Great staff really clean they even let me park my bike at sister hotel car park

La chambre à notre arrivée etait moyennement propre, sol avec des cheveux (et une barette a cheveux qui trainait au sol) ainsi que des petites plumes. En voyant cela on a ouvert le lit, et là, c'était le pire. Le drap blanc de fond était froissé, taché de diverses couleurs a plusieurs endroits et des saletés traînait sur le drap. La couette et les oreillers eux semblait propre. Comme si une personne s'était allongé dans le lit. Nous sommes allés à l'hôtel qui a géré notre arrivée car personne de la guest house n'était présent. Ils ont étés très sympathiques et ont changé les draps. Mais il faut avouer que cela nous a vraiment reffroidi en arrivant !!! De plus pas de produit dans la salle de bain ( shampoing, savon, gel douche) et ni de tapis de salle de bain. Pas très pratique en sortant de la douche surtout que la moquette dans la chambre ne donnais pas envie de s'y secher les pieds. Il est indiqué sur le site de la réservation qu'il y a un parking gratuit et disponible...nous le cherchons toujours !!!! Limite mensongé, sinon nous aurions réservé ailleurs car nous étions en voiture . Bref, très déçu. Ce fut le seul hébergement durant notre séjour de 13 jours a avoir des soucis auss importants Point positif l'emplacement et le petit coin café/ thé.

Great location easily accessible and short distance to the beach too. Things management would work on the toilet required several platelets to flush and the room went cold due to a window left open - which I forgot to close so not so bad :) will definitely recommend. And update if changes are implemented . Lovely host Andy by the way

Clean close to beach and town centre

Absolutely wonderful stat lovely peaceful place

We arrived and was shown to our room, family room was nice and spacious. The beds were made and had new towels, but there was no new loo roll and we still had the previous occupants dirty mugs and spoons. It was very quiet in the evenings. But the biggest downfall was the room smelt of cigarette smoke, either previous occupants have smoked out the window or someone smokes in one of the rooms next door and it seeps in.

Just an honest guest house quite near to the sea and town. No beakfast available

The room was very standard and could be improved in the room and the blind was broken and quilt cover had a burn mark on it and the shower was very slow and kept changing the temperature was in it not bice

Clean dog friendly great location for train and beach very helpful staff

First impression of the owner / manager, was not very good, smelt of alcohol, dressed inappropriate, no shoes, scruffy in tracksuit. Staircase smelt of people smoking. No fire instructions in the property/ room, which the fire alarm did sound with no instructions. Bed mattress was very old. Litter bins on the landing over loaded with bottles and food for 24 hrs. Entrance cobwebs and very untidy.

Clean room, comfy bed, no hair dryer provided, so take your own, very good welcome. We did book a room with a bath as we are walkers, but we were given a room with shower only. Parking is tricky as only allowed one night free and parking is a nightmare in Weymouth, it’s all permit parking or pay machines.

So close to the Weymouth promenade, the small double is very small but dog friendly and clean enough for the price well worth it. Parking is a problem.

Nice welcome by staff/ owner. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. The en-suite bathroom had a very bad smell of mould. Was told on arrival that there were no housekeeping services anymore. I had to ask for towels as none were left in the room and when I received it, it had tooth paste on it. States free parking, this is not true all streets around the lodge are permit parking only, so had to use a car park and pay and walk back to the lodge. Property is very tired and could do with a good clean and update. If you want a bed for the night and not overly fussy on cleanliness it’s ok. Apart from booking in didn’t see any staff.

Had to wait outside in 0 degrees for 20 minutes to check in. Free parking is a 10 minute walk away if theres a space on the road. Room very small. Shower dirty. Would not stay again.

I expected Parking to be near not 1.5 miles away. If I had known I would have booked else where.
