The hosts were very attentive and couldn’t do enough. The accommodation was fantastic and spotlessly clean.

Clean and comfortable room, cleaned each day. Very good breakfast. Quiet area. Blackout blinds. Walk in shower. App to order breakfast, set room temperature etc. Owners very helpful. Bus stop opposite.

I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here!

This place is like a dream come true. The owners really take pride in the rooms, breakfast made to order and delicious. Walkable to city center. We want to go back!

What a perfect place to stay in York. A very easy stroll into York City. Everything you could want in a stay. Breakfast was very generous. And laundry dervice provided on request.

I booked the stay as part of a surprise for my husband's birthday, and he was very impressed and absolutely raved about it. He could not fault a single thing about our stay. Starting with the location, it was not far to walk to York centre (around 20 minutes or so). We stayed in the Samurai suite. The theming of the room was fantastic, right down to the sunken bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was evident that the owners had not scrimped on quality of the furnishings or bedding. We had a very warm welcome from our hosts, and were greeted each morning at breakfast equally warmly and by name. The selection at breakfast was fantastic, even down to the homemade granola which was so tasty, I bought a bag to bring home with me. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cooked breakfast which could be personalised when ordering the night before and ready for a time of our choosing. The whole stay was faultless from start to finish.

Great location 10-15 flat walk to Yorkminster. Brilliant attention to detail (tissues and cotton pads in the room). Very high quality bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet. Lovely breakfast, would recommend and will stay there again when in York.

Great 2 night stay, slight issue with Expedia which Tony sorted out for us swiftly, great service and a fantastic room, luxurious pillows and bedding/mattress so slept so well and didn’t hear any outside noise. The room has loads of technology if you want to use it. The aircon was a great extra and was lovely and quiet.The breakfast was really good, loads of choice and quality food. I recommend this to anyone staying in York. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels and B&Bs through my work I can honestly say this is one of the Best ! A real credit to the owners. We were allowed to park our car up due to arriving early. the room was warm & the shower was hot and powerful. we stayed in rm4 (king size four poster bed) there was a mini fridge with complimentary two cans of coke & water ( nice touch)All lights were electric, lots of power points, the blinds to the windows were electric. they even provided a iron & board !! there was a safe as well. Breakfast was really good & tony who served it was friendly & made us feel very welcome. All I can say is they have thought of ever thing .

Fantastic place to stay. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice and the guest house was an easy 10-15 min walk into the city centre. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous place, faultless

Fabulous! Tony & Diana - who run the property - were delightful and incredibly helpful. Rooms are beautifully decorated and, for once, are the same size in real life as they are in the publicity photos! Very handy location: our car remained in the parking area right in front of the hotel for the duration of our stay and we walked into town every day. Breakfast is included. There is a great choice and it is all cooked to perfection. Would recommend without the slightest hesitation.

The owners were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast is delicious and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. Easy to walk into downtown and anything we wanted to do.

We loved the character and uniqueness of the property. The staff were really attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

The property is quirky and it shows that the owners have taken great care to chose every item in the decoration. It has lots of personality and it’s friendly and quiet. We had a lovely stay. The owners cook breakfast for the guests every morning, we were very impressed. The hotel uses an app where you can choose your breakfast options, and there is a lot of information in it. Our stay was very swift.

Great room. Excellent breakfast. Great location right by bus stop to centre of town. It’s also an easy walk.
