Tregenna Castle Resort

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, clean room. Only issue was room was far too warm for windows that only open slightly.

I felt that you had relaxing things to do at the hotel

Great place, great room, good food

The shower was awful as you have to hug the wall to get wet. Shower hose leaked and there was mould along the ceiling. Under the toilet was dirty

We had a wonderful time! The hotel was lovely and within walking distance of St Ives

The Tregenna Hotel is set in impressive grounds and has an imposing façade - the staff we interacted with were friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were spacious and reasonably appointed. The room facilities were adequate

Lovely setting in nice hotel, with commanding views. Hotel a little tired, in my own opinion, room was like a sauna, thankfully we had a fan,to cool down room. In all though, a very enjoyable stay.

The room & bathroom was very dated and somewhat tired but very clean. The TV was tiny for the size of the room and the radiator a bit small. The staff were generally very helpful and the food in the restaurant very good, apart from the breakfast which was poor in quality.

The only thing I would comment is the walls are very thin and I heard everything that was going on in the next room. Embarrassing for them!

Our second stay here we love it The only thing this time was our bed in room 51 was a bit too hard for us everything else perfect but it wouldn’t stop us staying again we had a classic double so would probably go for one of the other rooms

Super friendly and welcoming. Restaurant wonderful and food amazing. Will definitely be back. Thank you all for a truly relaxing break.

Not to bad

The courtyard room was really lovely with a nice balcony and partial sea view. Unfortunately it was really noisy from other rooms so I didn't sleep very well. Very beautiful and spacious grounds, well maintained grounds. Staff were hardworking and friendly

It was lovely but rooms were very hot and our bed was quite hard

Liked the grounds that were quiet and well kept. Room was very clean and warm.

The staff were welcoming. Restaurant food and service were excellent. The grounds were very well maintained with some lovely walks. It was convenient to walk down the path to the beach not far away.

Very beautiful setting, staff very friendly and helpful 5stars for them, the room was very nice with a very lovely large bed. Easy walking access to st ives but getting a cab back is a good idea. I would avoid room 84 as the veiw is overlooking the glass roof of the pool and you can hear everything happening in bar downstairs, but that is a minor inconvenience, I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Amazing location in walking distance of St Ives centre with beautiful views and gardens. Super helpful and friendly staff through out the hotel. The room was recently refurbished with fresh modern look, and was clean, quiet and easy to get a good night’s sleep. Dinner in restaurant was fabulous. A few wonky things meant a reduced score on some of the criteria. In particular the heating was frustrating as it was centrally controlled and no air con, so difficult to get a sensible temperature in the room. The indoor pool is tatty around the edges and charging £1/towel is bizarre, given we’d already spent nearly £1k on a few nights stay. These were minor niggles however, in an otherwise fantastic experience and wouldn’t put us off coming back. The hotel clearly has 4 star ambitions and I hope they continue to invest to rightfully achieve that status.

Amazing property with beautiful landscape, trail, outdoor activities and delightful breakfast! Close to the St. IVES bay.
