It was a self checkin so no staff to rate. Could do with a comfy seat in the bedroom.

The property in and of itself needs quite a bit of proper remedial repairs and attention to get it to where it should be. That said everything worked the place was clean and as advertised access was easy and the property manager interaction very good.

Great location, easy to find. Clean, warm, cozy room. No staff present but easy enough to work the entry system in place apart from a bit of a struggle with the front door at one point. I think there is only one toilet/shower that I saw unless there are rooms that have enduites-mine didn’t but I didnt have to wait to use it. Generally a good place to be if you want a bolt hole to visit London or go to a gig nearby.

Problems with access codes to the room, bathroom light was not working and I needed to shower with a phone light. Overall feeling of the place was run down and it did not feel clean.

Ease of checking-in

To attend a show at Islington Assembly Hall it's perfect. Just around the corner.

I stayed in room 4 with private bathroom. Location is great - just off Upper Street with lots of local restaurants and bars. The accommodation itself is good value for the location (assuming you get a decent rate), though basic in decor / amenities. Overall is value for money and would stay again.

I think the first thing to say is that I paid £87 for 1 night which is incredibly cheap for the London and the area. We were going to a wedding from 4pm and would not be using the room/ hotel much. The shared bathroom could do with a good scrub and the loo roll holder was not properly attached to the wall. The soap dispenser tube does not reach down to the soap. The carpet in the room could do with a clean and the room smells somewhat musty. However it has a charming balcony. My feeling is that the place needs a bit of TLC applied to it, and a bit of effort to make it nicer. I didn’t use the kitchen but you could cook a proper meal there if you wanted to. I go back to what I said though which is at just over £80 it is fantastic value. We would stay there again if it was a trip where we were mainly out. It is an incredible location. The staff were helpful and accommodating after a bit of back and forth. I think it is always more difficult when they need set procedures in place given that there does not appear to be staff on site regularly. It was good value for money given the low cost.

Kind staff and a comfortable place to stay in

The flat is tiny and very cleaned, it has everything you need for a couple of days including coffee, tea and sugar. All the appliances are well maintained and they match perfectly the flat’s vibes. The only problem is for the toilet, it wasn’t flushing properly and paper wasn’t going down. A little tip: i think it would be great to have a light above the mirror in the bath. Thank you so much!!

I missed that this property had shared ablutions. If this is not your thing, then beware.

Please save your self from great distress and don’t stay here. We got locked out of our room at 1am due to our key code no longer working and there is no one to contact so we had nowhere to sleep or no way to access any of our belongings or vital medication

It was a good stay unfortunately was a few small problems like one of the other residents was a bit noisey and there was a couple bits missed to clean but other wise the room was comfy and its in a good area and affordable, i would actuality recomend as the doors are locked with codes so if your alone its pretty secure!

Put off by the fact the electricity went off twice during our 2 night booking, both times required access to our room for sorting. Tried messaging regarding this and got no response. The main door keypad is sensitive too, not ideal when you can't get in returning late at night. Internal doors are squeaky so when you're next to the bathroom you hear everyone going in and out, many often slam doors too. Expensive for the type of stay.

No mention of a shared bathroom the listing - one of the most overpriced places we have stayed in London

The check in process was online and included seending photo-id and a security deposit - despite it being booked through Expedia and being a long time user of this site. And despite Expedia policy stating not to give payment details to the property. However, without which I would have had to find somewhere else at short notice. The lock mechanism on the front door was temperamental and didnt comply with the instructions until I tried lifting the handle rather than depressing it. I couldnt find the room once Id entered and had to walk through the kitchen, a laundry store and across a yard to find it. The best thing I coud say about the property is that it is reasonably cheap and was conveninet for where I was visiting. A good attempt at cleaning a tired and taudry room. Otherwise dreadful.

Struggled to book in as I hadn't taken photo id with me, plus when trying to enter card details I had to go to my banking app to authorise it, which then reset everything

My stay here was very good! Customer service was attentive and they gave me an upgrade for a better flat that suit my needs better for my trip. I reccomend!
