더블트리 리조트 바이 힐튼 호텔 피지 - 소나이살리 아일랜드

전용선착장이 있어 다니기 편했고 24시간 직원들이 대기해있어 든든했다.하지만 해양스포츠담당직원은 핸폰보느라 보트타러 오는 우리와 다른사람들에게 신경쓰지않았고 우리스스로 아무런 설명없이 싱글보트를 밀고타야했다.내가 인사를 건넸을때 답도없었고 질문을 했을때 답도없어 처음엔 말을못하는 사람인줄알았다. 섬내 먼곳을 다닐때는 바키라는 차가 언제나 데려다주어 다니기 좋았고 수영장도 멋졌다. 일부두세명의 스탭은 친절했으나 그외는 3성급 호텔보다 못한 태도여서 기대이하였지만 시설은 좋았고 틈틈히 보고할수있는 오락거리는 많았다.

직원들 별로 친절하지않고, 체크아웃 시간에 사람 몰리면 줄서서 20분 기다려야합니다. 주변에 진짜 아무것도 없어서 섬에서 나와서 택시타고 다녀야하는데 택시비 깡패라 그냥 섬 안에서만 쉬실 분들 가시는게 좋아요. 리조트 내에 마트 하나 있는데 독점이라 가격 완전 비쌉니다. 물 하나에 6.25(피지달러) 받아요. 다른데선 아무리 비싸도 3불대인데. 여기선 이상하게 돈 쓰고 기분 나빠요.

Beautiful views from our room 109. Friendly staffs, pool was awesome, only draw back was,upon arrival, had hard time getting a portar to bring our luggage to our room. The floors in the rooms were not clean. The rest was good. We would definitely come again. Also the phone in rooms didn't work at all. If u need anything, u need to go to the front desk.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a spacious ocean view butte that was very comfortable.

The stay at this resort was phenomenal. I’ve traveled all over the world and the service received at the Double Tree in Fiji was one of the best I’ve ever had. General manager, SP, was kind, friendly, generous, and enjoyed getting to know all of the guests. I have never met a GM who is always visible and works from the early morning to evening always on his feet with such an upbeat personality. Thank you, SP! “La” Lavania at the restaurant Tavu, was sweet, accommodating, fun, and very hard-working. I also received a fantastic and peaceful massage and pedicure from Amelia at the beachfront spa. Landscape manager, Deo, was very caring and always checking in on guests to see how their experience at the hotel has been. Eka, from the pool and kids club was upbeat and very helpful. Ruci did a fantastic job keeping our room clean and welcoming. Jope welcomed us upon check-in with a Bula smile and joyful spirit. The very kind Pranil drove us in the buggy when our walk was too long, It was a stay I will never forget, and I will come back in a heartbeat for another relaxing and memorable vacation.

Not a beach hotel. Limited dinning options.

Great location if you want to stay in the resort area and relax. Not walkable to restaurants and bars. You have to use the hotel dining/facilities only.

Unreliable staff. Had to wait 5hrs for insect spray. Went to a store about 0.5hrs away and bought it myself. Request for in room slippers seemed like a big task for staff.

The resort is lovely and people are very friendly. The only downside is that you are well away from the shops

Absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service - from arrival, to depature! The presentation of the property was second to none - I was completely in awe and could not stop smiling! We were upgraded to a bungalow which was soo beautifully presented, clean, with that extra care taken to make this the most enjoyable place I have ever stayed. Our houseekeeper Vere, was AMAZING - she went above and beyond for us and gave us a personal touch almost every night we were there. I can not thank her enough! Salome at the front office (duty manager) was also OUTSTANDING! Her patience and kindness with me as we arrived and tried to get our head around everything was soo beautiful to receive. She knew my name and used it everytime she said hello, which again gave us that personal touch of being there. There was another lady on the front but i cant remember her name - you were soo beautiful tous, thank you!! The restaurants were amazing - the staff....oh, words cannot describe how friendly and kind they were. The food....oh my life!!! Shanaka, the hotel manager, finished our holiday off with a personal note and cookies and wished us a safe flight home....we felt like royatly. We will most DEFINITELY be staying there again. 10/10 for EVERYTHING!! Vinaka DoubleTree Resort Fiji - you have won us over tenfold and we will never forget it ❤️

Friendly arrival for our two day stay. But...at the restaurant we had to find a person to seat us or to make drinks. One person was able to make a mai tie the other two needed assistance. On the morning we checked out were between breakfast and lunch I was unable to order lunch until closer to 12:00. We asked the hotel to book us a taxi to the airport and the 'taxi' was a beatup car with no seatbelts and no air conditioning. The driver said he needed to go get gas first and then continue to the airport. We were feeling uncomfortable and made up a reason to return back to the jetty after he finished putting in fuel into the car. He took us back and unloaded our luggage and we waited for a better taxi to take us to the airport. The other taxi was much better - it was clean, had seat belts and air con. However, the hotel taxi driver saw we moved into another taxi and he came after us with his car and demanded why we are in this other taxi. It was threatening and scary but our new taxi driver put us at ease and the agressive taxi driver drove off. Shame on Double Tree to allow this type of taxi service.

The staff was very friendly. The food was far below average and expensive. The fact that you aren't allowed to bring food or drinks from outside the resort made it worse. For a place so isolated, that restriction should be lifted. The water was expensive and that's sad. We can't drink the tap water. The resort should not make you pay. We left a day early. There was really nothing to do except eat terrible food. There were two restaurants but one was never staffed. I paid a fortunate for the Bula dining package and it wasn't even good. No good resort activities available unless you want to pay a fortune for them. Would not recommend.

This resort is a great place. It's about 30 minute drive from the Nadi International Airport and it's on a reef by itself, which means you actually have to take a small boat from the parking lot where you'll get dropped off to the actual hotel property. With that being said, you're pretty isolated from the main island. Some people are going to love that getting away from everything else, some aren't going to love being on a resort where it can be quite difficult to get to see anything else on the island. The food was good, the staff was great and the menu is varied and quite tasty. Plus, they have a different theme for their buffet dinner every night which keeps things interesting. I got an ocean front room, which was beautiful and thankfully the AC worked great. It was definately a great room. If you're coming for the water, the ocean next to the resort (at least when I was there) was quite dirty and not the beautiful clear blue you're probably hoping for. However, the pool directly next to the water is beautiful, it's large for everyone, very comfortable in the island heat and there's tons of chairs to lay about.
