We loved our stay, and will cherish our time with their beautiful staff. We stayed in the Bure on the beachfront with 180 views, it was amazing & I would highly recommend. The snorkelling was beautiful, the trip to the sea caves also well worth it. We did the Manta Ray tour which was a highlight. This resort is so authentic, remote, quiet and so relaxed. There is lots to do or nothing at all! We especially enjoyed walking the Blue Lagoon beach...so many good things to say. We would highly recommend this little resort & will be back.

Great place to stay, wonderful staff, food was pretty good, but most importantly we thoroughly enjoyed our stay everything was comfortable and beautiful.

As a solo traveler I felt welcomed. This is a great place to relax. The cave trip and guided snorkeling were reasonably priced and small group. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. I honestly wish I could’ve stayed a few more days. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Fabulous place to stay extremely friendly intimate quiet where staff knew your name , excellent variety and quality of meals , very clean comfortable accomodation ,snorkeling quality a little limited directly off resort but better further along the beach but water beautiful ,easy to boat transfer to busier blue lagoon resort for excellent scuba diving .we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The whole resort was beautifully maintained. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful and always willing to help with any requests. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

Just be careful what you’re looking for! We saw the good reviews and the word resort and expected a bit more in terms of facilities- there is no gym, racquet sports, tv or wifi in the rooms. If you want a relaxing and off grid experience, yes this is great and we were able to relax and explore the islands on kayaks. Had to be quick on the snorkels though, often unavailable The food was great however much more expensive than we anticipated considering there’s no other options - 30fjd for potato wedges and only 50fjd options for mains at dinner. One night the only option was an 85fjd traditional buffet which was fantastic but we weren’t that hungry and there were no other options. The website says no meal plan so you can budget as much or as little on food as you want, but we found there were no midway options like a wrap for fjd20. The general store mainly caters for locals with cooking facilities, so the only option there was a cup of noodles. Great night activities and staff, great view from the rooftop Bure so definitely a net positive experience, very relaxing and beautiful island and beach, just not the bustling resort vibe we had an anticipated. Five nights was probably too long for our needs. Other young couples seemed to feel the same so just trying to give realistic feedback for those looking to book :)

We stayed in a tree top bure (no AC but plentiful louvres and ceiling fan) late June so temperatures were fine and the bure had a fabulous view which we never tired of. We are late 60s and were happy to climb a few steps to get such a view! Comfortable bed, functional (a little tired but clean) bathroom. Well cleaned daily. Staff are awesome, very friendly, happy and helpful. Our hobby is snorkeling and there is quite good coral and fish towards the Blue Lagoon part of the beach. We really enjoyed the afternoon snorkel trips where we saw pristine coral and sea life nearby! So if you really want good snorkeling be willing to do the afternoon trips, well worth while. A/C in room was a nice wall unit, room was clean, hot tub was full sized outdoors and to temp of your choice with new water if requested, action center was all action and super friendly when guests approached staff. Big BuLA to this resort staff when you arrive . The restaurant was accommodating to food sensitivities when communicated, food and drinks were fresh and variety was sufficient for most and always served with smiles and love.

Staff are so friendly, Moses made a beautiful basket for me , he also guided a snorkel ing trip, which has been the most amazing experience ever for me. The resorts also gave my son a surprise birthday party and cake. The staff and some of their talented children sang very beautifully and danced amazingly.

We loved our 4 night stay here. It’s very casual, laid back and relaxing. Don’t come here if you want a Sheraton or Intercontinental experience, a late night party place or designer decor. There’s a bunch of things that could be updated (like the faucets and sinks) and some areas really could use a new coat of paint. BUT the views from the treetop Bure are amazing, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There’s cultural entertainment every night. And it was lovely to take a kayak out to the point. The Sawa I lau caves are a bumpy 30 minute boat ride away and there’s a trail you can take to the other side of the island that was totally worth it. To see good reefs you’ll need to pay about $18 US to go on a guided snorkel trip. The included continental breakfast was very good, lunch and dinner was ok and the WiFi was terrible. But I would come back here in a heartbeat. It felt like home.

It isn’t one of the super flash resorts you can find, with pristine build quality and sanitised customer service, but it is rustic, remote, warm (climate and people) and thoroughly relaxing. The people are disarming and genuine, and brilliant. It was like being home and in a tropical paradise, somewhere for your soul to find rest. I recommend Nanuya Resort wholeheartedly.

The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful..excellent!!! Everything was wonderful.

When we arrived our aircon wasn’t working, at 31 degrees it was a necessity. They did not have another beachfront of the same category available, so they wanted an extra £50 a night( we were there for 7 nights) to put us in the next category. We refused and after a long discussion they relented and put us there for 4 of the nights. I have to admit both properties were shabby and needed an upgrade. The superior property had a hot tub in the outside shower room. It was dirty with about 2in of dirty water with 2 crabs in. Not a good welcoming start! It was impossible for me to get into the water along the whole length of the resort. They have built a protective wall with lots of slippery rocks to clamber over to get into the water, which is full of grasses . A lot further from the resort is a beautiful beach, sadly, it was too far for me to walk. You cannot use it on a Tuesday and Wednesday as it belongs to Blue Lagoon Cruises and they have it for their exclusive use when the ship docks there. The breakfast that was included was the worst I have had on 9 weeks touring. On the positive side lunch and dinner were the best I had in Fiji, there for nearly 4 weeks. The snorkelling from the boat was amazing, they were extremely considerate and caring. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly with Oscar, the bartender, the star of the show. Needless to say , we left the island early, without a refund!

It’s beautiful being way out in the islands. Best part of NIR was the staff; they’re very much like a family and are always saying “bula” and asking how you are. The food has great flavor. The free stuff; kayaks and snorkels are great; just take yourself over to Blue Lagoon. Guided snorkel was amazing as well with Moses. I opted to rough it with no air con; would probably not do that again but it’s all and all a lovely place

Very friendly staff

The people, I hated leaving. Beautiful resort, we stayed in the treetop cabin with a spectacular view overlooking the bay. Very quiet and the people made us feel at home. 5 star for sure.

The spa experience there was amazing! I did while body massage and manicure done and they were both satisfying. The staff was also friendly and nice
