The location here was calm and convenient but there are something bad I couldn't expect until I visit there. The most terrible thing was that there isn't elevator and we had to carry heavy luggage up to 6th floor. I have never able to check it up and I shouldn't have booked such kind of accommodation if I know it before booking. There are more but it's not worth to post it.

When we arrived, we realised that we could not open the windows (only the one skylight window upstairs), which is a problem stated in many reviews of the property since 2017. It gets unbearably warm inside, without any ventilation. Overall it is a very cute apartment, but it has not been taken care of over the years, therefor is not a good value for money, although it is located in a nice neighbourhood in Helsinki. When we contacted the host about the heat, the response we got was that the bad weather would take care of it, ignoring the fact that the skylight window can not be opened during the rain. Would not stay here again.

A charming but small studio apartment in a good location. Up ten flights of stairs, which sounds worse than it is because they're shallow. There are two small twin beds in a tight loft which you get to via a ladder. That is fine except that I banged my head a few times sitting up in bed! There are no windows you can open in the main apartment but the loft has a skylight you can open. Best of all: the bathroom is spectacular. It has an amazing sauna and a heated floor, and all the fixtures are satisfyingly top-notch in the European way. So, if you don't mind stairs and ladders and you care about bathrooms, this is the place for you!
