아발론 호텔 파리 가르 뒤 노르

Perfect verblijf! Hele leuke kamer, geen lawaai van buiten. Wel van andere gasten op de gang, vreemd dat je niet stil naar je kamer kunt gaan. Kamer is gerenoveerd, gewoon netjes, airco, fijne bedden, eigen thee faciliteit. Niet ver van bezienswaardigheden. Leuk personeel! Ook onze hond was meer dan welkom.

First room: no hot water. Second room: no electricity. The soundproofing is nonexistent. You can see daylight through some doors and easily follow conversations from next door. Better soundproofing of the doors and windows would surely help. Both our keycards had to be reprogrammed several times during the stay. An annoiance that could have been avoided. Judging from the wear and tear of the keycards, they are just tired. No, we did not have our phones and keycards in the same pockets. On the last night of our stay, no running water from 17:30 to our departure the following morning at 10 a.m. Apologies from staff but they did not give us access to another room with water. Was not even offered a bottle of water or any comp. We left for the airport and then a 7.5H flight without a shower. No management on-site Saturday morning when we left, so I filed the written complaint form. 5 days later, I have not heard back from Hotel Management. I stayed at the property 3 times in the last 2 years. But given the issues on this trip and the lack of response from management, it's my last stay at Avalon or Avalon Cosy.

It was very close to gare du nord train station

Hitel was very old and terribly dirty. Woke up with many bites on my body.

Great location, walking distance to Montmartre and Gare du Nord. Near many forms of public transportation making it easy to get to some of the main attractions. Room was spacious and hotel offers shuttle to airport at a great rate. Area is noisy, didn’t bother us, so be careful if your a light sleeper. I would stay here again..

Convenient at 2mn from Gare du Nord.

The room itself was recently renowned; however, the hotel is in terrible condition. It has definitely seemed like better days!

Over all property was great bed is good , Only thinks no amenities like kettle hot water or coffee .

Nice room and quiet considering how central it was, however the shower was cold in the evening.

On the plus side it is very close to the Gare du Nord but that is where the positives end. The hotel is in a terrible state of repair. The painting is peeling off, the carpet completely unhoovered (like a building site), the view for the window was a brick wall. The bathroom doesn't have a bath and is the size of a cupboard. The breakfast included raw eggs that you had to cook yourself. Don't confuse it with the Avalon Cosy Hotel which seems to be a completely different (nice) hotel.

This is a nice hotel if you don’t need to spend a lot of time in your room. We were out all day and only needed a place to sleep. Close to Gare du Nord and lots of good eating choices

Un hôtel qui n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 3 étoiles parisien. A part le fait d'être prêt de gare du nord, aucune envie d'y rester . Aussi, une température d'eau très tiède pour une douche et la seule réponse apportée est :"Ah ok, je vais prevenir". Des travaux mal organisés. Passer votre chemin .

Hotel was decent enough, though the public areas were quite shabby. It was an ok place for sightseeing though, if you're out all day. Not a hotel to spend time in, there wasn't a bar or lounge area. I was in the ground floor/disabled room and it was nice enough, but it wasn't particularly cosy. The windows were right on the street outside, and I found privacy to be an issue - there were curtains of course, but they didn't quite cover at the edges of the window - I used a chair to hold the curtain next to the wall, to cover the gaps. I also found it to be very noisy - lots of banging late at night from the lift area, bathroom noises and running water noises from rooms above, furniture scraping noises from overhead late at night and early morning. From an accessible point of view though, it seems like it would be a good room if limited mobility is an issue (wasn't for me, so I can only comment on my perception) - wet room shower and plenty of space in the bathroom, good amount of space around the bed etc. Access from the reception to this room wouldn't be easy for a wheelchair user however.

The location of the hotel is great, especially when you travel by train. Gare du Nord is less than a 10-minute walk away, which is ideal. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is well situated in relation to the various districts and sights and it's close to different Metro stations. Which you'll need, because Paris is a big city and the distances between districts are often quite large. Overall the hotel was good and clean, with friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is being renovated and that's necessary, especially downstairs in the lobby and breakfast area to give it a bit more appeal, worthy of three stars. The room was clean and big enough for a family of three. It was already renovated in a nice "multi-cultural" style, although they do need to pay some attention to the details such as the painting and re-hanging several lamps in the room and bathroom. A bit more closet space and a fridge in the room would also be a good addition, but overall a nice, comfortable room with good beds. Breakfast was ok, but could be a bit more extensive for the price. I think that if they renovate and refresh some area's and all the rooms and halls in their own unique style, to give it a bit more appeal and charisma, they have a great hotel, ideal for a citytrip to Paris.

We had a fantastic stay at Avalon Paris! The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Gare du Nord, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any questions. We especially appreciated the charming atmosphere and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!
