It was perfect experience for us to stay Hotel Alfred Sommier. They were really kind for every guest, and they prepared Madeline as welcome desert! It was perfect start. All amenities were GUERLAIN, which was fine french brand. Especially, bedding was really best that I’ve ever stayed. So cozzy, clean and neat. If you are sensitive for the beddings, I heavily recommend you to stay this Hotel. The only one I was inconvenient was water pressure. Water pressure was too weak and my hair is so long that it took more time to wash my hair.

Everything was fantastic. Staff that remembers you and is friendly, GREAT breakfast, authentic old French feel. The only improvement could be the gym and more easy-to-use room phones. 99/100!

What was intended to be a special trip for my wife’s 30th birthday became a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience due to a series of entirely avoidable issues. 1. Premature and Unauthorised Payment Despite being explicitly told that payment would be taken upon arrival, the full amount was charged the day after booking—three months prior to our check-in date. This is completely unacceptable and a breach of the terms communicated to us. 2. Lack of Basic Hospitality on Arrival Upon arrival, we received no assistance whatsoever with our luggage, nor were we shown to our room. We later watched other guests being offered this service, which made the inconsistency—and neglect—particularly stark. 3. Poor Room Condition and Maintenance Issues While the room itself was basic but passable, the bathroom was clearly suffering from water damage and wear, especially around the door. It quickly became obvious why: the shower leaked significantly, with water spilling out every time we entered or exited. This is not only poor maintenance but also a safety hazard. 4. Inaccessible Room & Absence of Staff Late at Night Returning to the hotel around 10:30pm one evening, we discovered that all of our room keys had been deactivated. When we went to reception, there was no one present. We waited around 15 minutes, looking for staff, only to eventually find someone who told us to wait again without making any attempt to actually call for help. Great location and services

Everything was perfect

My go to hotel in Paris. I love getting to know staff where I like to frequent and it always feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend the junior suites or above for comfort -- I happen to like a lot of space. The concierge is extremely helpful and love working with her.

Quel splendide hôtel! Ce fut mon deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel et certainement pas le dernier! L’emplacement est parfait, à deux pas de la place de la Madeleine, le service est impeccable, le décor est splendide, les chambres sont d’un confort incroyable et petit plus pour les produits Guerlain dans la douche! J’ai déjà hâte d’y revenir!

Very good location. Walking distance to number of places of interest. Good neighbourhood. Friendly atmosphere. Our room size was good and very clean. Excellent shower. Courteous and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will visit again. Merci beaucoup to all members of staff and room service team.

Reasonable street view of the Haussmann buildings, no view of Paris landmarks (although none expected). Staff was super helpful and pleasant, breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of French food items. Linens, mattress and pillows we excellent, I slept super well

Je reviens dans cet hôtel et je dois dire que c’est à chaque fois un véritable émerveillement. Le personnel est très attentionné, la chambre confortable et le lieu absolument sublime ! Je recommande chaudement !
