Great location and apartment accommodation perfect for 4 night stay

Wir hatten ein zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick. Zimmer sind sehr klein,aber mit Balkon möglich. Wir haben uns geärgert,da die zimmer bei Direktbuchung im Hotel wesentlich günstiger gewesen wären.betten sehr hart.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits à l’hôtel Florida. L’emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de la plage, ce qui est très appréciable. En revanche, nous avons été déçus par la chambre : très sombre, sans véritable luminosité naturelle, et donnant sur une coursive avec des escaliers de secours. La chambre était exiguë, avec un lit mal positionné qui empêchait d’ouvrir complètement la porte. L’équipement est vieillissant et mériterait d’être rafraîchi. Un petit service additionnel, comme de l’eau en bouteille mise gratuitement à disposition, aurait été apprécié pour compenser le manque de confort. Par ailleurs, aucun étendoir ou dispositif n’est prévu pour faire sécher les maillots et serviettes de plage, ce qui est pourtant essentiel dans un hôtel situé en bord de mer. Manque d’aération dans la salle de bain, impression que toute la chambre était humide. Dommage, car l’emplacement a du potentiel, mais plusieurs points nuisent à l’expérience globale.

Le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas au rdv . À part payer l’emplacement…. L’appartement sous les toits ne nous permettait même pas d’être debout correctement. Sans compter l’isolation médiocre . Le pire : louer l’appartement environ 700 euros et devoir payer 4 euros pour avoir le kit pour faire la vaisselle . On marche sur la tête . Un bazar pas possible dans la chambre voisine où nous avons dû nous déplacer à 4h30 du matin pour calmer un peu le jeu . Franchement je n’ai pas aimé cet hôtel . Note positive / le personnel est très agréable .

Charming hotel in a lovely area. There was so much to do within a 3-10 minute walk of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, fresh food market, beach, etc. The room was very comfortable for 3 people. The bathroom was quite large with a nice shower. AC was a bonus, as was the mini fridge. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful in multiple languages. If you have mobility issues, know that you cannot drive up to the entrance. And the elevator is really tiny so we mostly used stairs. Parking is about a 4 minute walk with lots of stairs, and getting to the parking garage is a bit of an adventure. (Many streets in Biarritz are pedestrian only,) it’s also paid parking, with was rather expensive. If you can avoid a car in Biarritz, I would. It’s a very walkable place.

Not a 4 star hotel

Fast internet. Cute room. Nice desk. Nice mini fridge. Very good shower. Very good and fast air con. Staff friendly and helpful

Our stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. The staff was rude and unhelpful throughout our visit. One particularly absurd moment was being charged €8 for a coffee from a basic machine. To make it worse, the receptionist remembered a cup we took a day earlier with laser focus — if only she used that level of attention to provide good service instead of nitpicking minor things. On top of that, we didn’t receive room service for three days, and when we brought it up, they had completely forgotten they promised to refund one night because of this inconvenience. Overall, this hotel clearly lacks customer care and basic hospitality standards. I wouldn’t recommend it.

O hotel fica em uma otima localização. Entretanto, ficamos num apartamento que estava sem cortina no quarto. Logo, a claridade entrava e ainda ficavamos expostos. O café da manhã era razoável. Em frente ao hotel tem um estacionamento subterraneo.

A superb location for seeing Biarritz on foot. It is in a quiet town centre square (virtually no cars) with sea views from balconies. If driving into Biarritz there is a public underground car park just a few yards away. The airport is as close as it could be (20-25 euro taxi fare) but the train station is surprisingly quite a long way (15 -20 euro taxi fare) although plenty of buses. It does not feel like a 4 star hotel - the first impression of the ground floor is very dark - it was evidently refurbished 10 or so years ago to a style that may have been popular at the time. The dining room is only open for breakfast and the tiny gym probably rarely used. No bar or lounge. Both face the square so when you first arrive It almost seems the hotel is closed. We only ever saw a friendly receptionist who again is hidden away. This feeling is not helped by the tiny lift and narrow commonways (on second floor) needing a new carpet but our room itself was absolutely fine. We had a junior suite - just a large bedroom with settee but on the corner of the hotel so had a door onto the front balcony (sun in morning) and side window which at last gave a feeling of space. Shower room and wc both ok, in fact the shower itself was excellent. Kettle, coffee pod machine, fridge (no mini bar) all ok. All seemed clean as did the room. Having seen a lot of bad reviews we went with trepidation but the hotel suited our needs due to wonderful location - close to restaurants, beach and little harbour

Great and convenient

Emplacement de l'hôtel idéal avec un accueil très agréable. Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée avec une bonne literie. Court séjour très agréable avec, en prime, un temps magnifique. (Seul bémol pas de parking)

all good but a bit expensive

Emplacement idéal mais Hôtel avec un grand besoin de rafraîchissement. Chambre humide, sale en profondeur ( joints douche…) odeur humidité désagréable, chambre accote d’un escalier avec le bruit des marches en résonnante.

The property is well located near the main beaches, restaurants bars and nightlife. The hotel was of reasonable standard but we booked a quad room with courtyard view, but in fact there was no view as we were below the courtyard level, this meant the room was very dark. I expect other rooms in other parts of the hotel would have been fine but there was no other availability, and the room was at much lower cost than alternatives. We would have considered other options if the room clearly stated ‘no view’ or basement. However biarritz is wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.
