Beautiful location Friendly staff Clean and comfortable room/bed Minibar - Menu roomservice - HotelRestaurant was fully booked and the rastaurants in town were closed so we had nothing to eat thats a big - But overal a god time and i would recomand this horel

Really nice hotel, lovely design, clean and comfortable rooms, and very friendly helpful staff (especially Colum). Be aware that if you walk into town, the dining options seem to be limited, so maybe eat in the hotel.

Das Bett war ein wenig hart, die Trmperatur im Zimmer zu tief und die Fugen im Bad braun. Ansonsten war es ein gutes, solides Hotel. Das Frühstück war ein wenig dürftig für 17 Euro. Orangensaft wurde nicht nachgefüllt und die Auswahl war bescheiden.

It's a hotel. In a castle. It's brilliant. We extended our journey so that we could get to spend the night in a castle. Pleased with our decision. Staff were great - they put up with my Franglais and we managed to communicate fine. Food - excellent. REALLY good kitchen, and we enjoyed a well priced, high quality evening meal. Breakfast was great too. Then did a tour around the castle, which has nearly 1000 years of history. There was not much else to do in Sedan, otherwise it would have been 5*. But it's a hotel. IN a castle. It's got to be done.

Loved location, room good. Stayed on Bastille Day would have been good to be informed of fireworks so we could enjoy. Lovely outside bar area but limited service in evening.

Very disappointing. 5 Star building, 2 star experience. Wonderful location in the Chateau Sedan, but a terrible meal and issues with the cleanliness and condition of the room. Meal, 5 course "Le Menu Decouverte". The Tartare was poorly prepared and almost frozen and without any seasoning. Pork Picanha was completely inedible. Looked like it had been left in the sous vide bag. I gave up at that point as the kitchen clearly wasn't able to present edible food that evening. I could see other diners having issues too. Raised the issues with the waitress, but nothing was done. The two worst plates of food anyone has put in front of me for years. Communal areas are beautiful but the room had peeling paint, black mold in the bathroom, the extractor fans didn't work nor did the safe because batteries had been left in it for years and corroded. The Fort walls may be a metre thick, but those between the bedrooms are so thin my bed moved when the guest next door got into their bed. Parking was only available from 6pm onwards, there were no spaces in the communal parking outside of the Fort. 2 stars because the check in experience and communal areas were good. All the above issues were raised with staff and they were uninterested.

The castle is dramatic in it's contruction and the tour well worth the time. The hotel is part of the fort itself and is old and charming. Some rooms are being updated, but ours was already good. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy.

Nice serrounding. Rooms are warm and a bit small. There was a oldtimer meeting right in front of the hotel so we had constant car roaring because our room was in the front aswell. A bit annoying. Breakfast was mediocore. 3/5 i would say

The restaurant and fortress were amazing. The room was just okay.

Un hébergement impeccable dans une région qui en compte peu, et dans un cadre atypique. Un accueil très agréable, une propreté irréprochable et un petit déjeuner de qualité. Un peu chaud dans la chambre, mais c'est le seul bémol !

Tolles Zimmer... Zimmer ist zu empfehlen, das junge Personal nicht. Machten sich lustig über mein gebrochenes Englisch.

Séjour à l’hôtel convenable ,en revanche la cuisine proposée au restaurant est à revoir (plat ris de veau pas cuit,cheveu dans le plat ,second plat sanglier très sec car trop cuit et difficilement coupable ainsi que le gratin de pâtes immangeable .(Repas complet à 68 euros quand même ) Je l’ai quand même signalé à la serveuse qui a retiré assiette pleine .Très déçue par la cuisine et le cadre du restaurant pas à la hauteur du lieu.

Het is een super mooi hotel ,schone kamers en een gezellig dorpje op loop afstand. Een super interessante tour in het kasteel zelf! Wij hebben geniten.

Hôtel bien situé. Accueil sympathique. Literie confortable. Le restaurant bénéficie d’un joli cadre mais la cuisine pourrait être plus raffinée.
