호텔 르 마젤란

방도 너무 깔끔하고좋았고 아침식사도 너무 맛있고 직원분들도 친졸하고 훌륭했습니다.

파리에 두군데 호텔을 이용 했는데 여기가 훨씬 만족스러웠어요. 역에서 조금 멀고 처음에 찾기가 어려운거 빼곤 다 좋습니다. 근데에 공원도 좋고 까르푸시티 마트가 있어서 편리해요. 근처에 지하철이 두군데 있는 것도 장점이고 직원들도 친절하고 객실도 깨끗하고 청소도 청결히 잘 해줬습니다. 그런데 다른 한곳에선 받지 않은 시티택스라는걸 요구해서 줬는데 의아해요. 그래도 전체적으로 만족합니다.

A hidden gem in the 17th…

I am unfamiliar with Paris, which is huge, but I did manage to find the Arc de Triumphe, Effeil Tower, and GREAT restaurants. Hotel Magelllan's complementary breakfast is great! Even offering very good espresso coffee.

Great spot for short trip

I loved the staff and the hotel itself was in great condition!

The hotel is located in a very pleasant and quiet part of Paris. The tourist areas were often so crowded that they weren’t always enjoyable and sometimes even exhausting. That’s why the hotel’s location was perfect—it offered a peaceful retreat where you could relax and still enjoy Paris at its best.

This was a very pleasant stay. The room was small and cozy but perfectly fine for two people. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very pleasant and the whole experience was lovely overall. Very clean and quiet, perfect refuge from the hustle and bustle while being a convenient walk/ train to everything we wanted in Paris.

Would stay here again!

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing due to several avoidable issues, mostly related to poor service and lack of basic hospitality. Upon arrival, we asked the front desk about parking, but the person at reception didn’t seem to have any clear information. We were advised to download an app and enter all our car details, only to later realize that street parking was actually free. That unnecessary hassle could’ve been easily avoided with proper guidance. We were also given a room on the second floor, but there’s no elevator in the building. This meant carrying heavy luggage up two flights of stairs, which wasn’t ideal and should be clearly mentioned when booking. Another issue was with the breakfast. We had already paid for it as part of our Expedia reservation, but the receptionist insisted it wasn’t included and told us we would have to pay €18 per person. The next morning, we had to once again show our booking confirmation to prove that breakfast was included. This lack of coordination was frustrating. To top it off, as we were heading to the airport and didn’t have time to eat in, we prepared two small sandwiches to take with us. One of the staff members made a scene, rudely telling us that food must be eaten inside and not taken out. We tried to explain that we were in a rush to catch a flight, but there was no understanding. Overall, the staff were unhelpful and at times outright rude. A complete waste of $330.

When we arrived we were told we had to upgrade to a larger room for our 8 year old, which doubled our price of the stay even though we booked a large enough bed. We also had additional taxes added on.

15 minutes stroll to the Arc de triomphe, This is a deightful small hotel, offering excellent value for money. Excellent range of food for breakfast, super comfy beds, and the ultimate, electric roller shutter blinds to completely block out the early morning light, so you can get on with the important work of sleeping. Combine all of this with super helpful staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.
