The room was spacious and warm. The owner met us on arrival, he was very nice and spoke French clearly and slowly so we could understand. He was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choice on offer and the coffee was great excellent. We would happily stay again.

Notre séjour c est bien passé. Le personnel est tres accueillant et disponible pour toute question. La chambre tres propre et spatieuse .Seul bémol, située au 3ème sous le toit et sans climatisation donc un peu chaude.

Exceptionnel: tout est parfait , un couple aux petits soins pour ses clients et d'une grande gentillesse. Une propreté exemplaire et une chambre au top. Ne pas hésiter, foncer.

Amazing owners. Top friendly people. They really look after you. Lovely breakfast. Easy safe parking for my motorcycle. Chaumont is a nice town too. Lots of choices for eating etc.

What a great hotel, not too expensive and a very welcome host when we arrived. Definitely recommend for a stopover.

Accueil très chaleureux dès la première minute comme si nous arrivions chez des amis. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu une panne du véhicule de location et les propriétaires nous ont assisté et résolu chaque difficulté jusqu'au bout toujours avec un immense sourire et l'aide de leurs amis ! La chambre est vraiment très spacieuse, la salle de bain également et tout est très propre! Le petit déjeuner est très complet, varié, sain et savoureux ! Le parking gratuit est très appréciable ainsi que le wifi, leurs conseils, tout était parfait ! L'ensemble mérite bien plus que 2 étoiles et la gentillesse de Manu et Evelyne sont rares de nos jours! Séjour exceptionnel ! Nous recommandons encore et encore l'hôtel le Royal! Merci sincèrement

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of a snow storm so we were pleased to have got there without incident. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there. The room was large and pleasantly warm, it was very cold outside. The patrons are very pleasant and welcoming. There is a bar attached to the hotel and it was good to get a drink on arrival.

This hotel was lovely to stay at with the owner being very friendly and accomodating, especially when it came to the language barrier as I speak mainly English. Hotel was very clean and presentable thanks for a lovely stay!

Excellent sejour, superbe chambre,très grande les toilettes sont a part et la salle de bain grande et bien équipée . Vraiment très agréable. La literie est excellente . Je recommande vraiment .De plus il y a un parking pour l,hotel et le gérant edt vraiment très sympa . Allee y sans risques. .

Hotel Royal is a traditional hotel which as been modernised. The proprietors are welcoming and friendly. It is conveniently situated for the motorway. Unusually for a French hotel it has a kettle in the room. There is a bar attached to the hotel which is very pleasant and it is nice to have a drink on arrival. Please note there is no lift and although the staircase is wide it is steep. There is parking available but becsuse of the proximity to the railway station it is also good for rail travellers.

Accueil chaleureux du patron qui nous a mis une chambre au premier étage au lieu du troisième sans ascenseur. Propreté. Dommage que le lit ne fasse que 140. Bon petit déjeuner. Parking privé. Hôtel situé proche du centre ville.

J'ai passé une bonne nuit dans cet hôtel. C'était propre, le propriétaire était super serviable et le petit déjeuner sans foriture était de qualité. Un très bon 2 étoiles.

A nice welcome on arrival. Small private carpark at rear. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Short walk to the centre of town with its bars are restaurants. A little further is the amazing Chaumont viaduct.
