Hotel Bowmann

The hotel was very nice and in a good location. What really made our stay special was the staff. They were excellent. My husband had left his phone in the taxi that brought us to the hotel, of course we were upset but Morgan went above and beyond contacting the driver multiple times to bring us the phone. We are truly grateful to him. He also gave us tips and was very helpful and welcoming. The staff was always cheerful with special mention to Gloria in the reception area and Omar at the bar. Good drinks and good food at the bar and restaurant. This will definitely be our hotel when we visit Paris again.

The property is not 5 star and the service was not 5 star. 3.5 star service at best, especially nights and weekends. The restaurant was fair, the waitstaff at the restaurant rude and not sufficiently staffed, and the courtyard area for dining and drinks felt 3 star at best. There was no lobby area for lounging outside of 2 small sofas. The gym equipment was inadequate and very old. The spa was small. No welcome drinks or process to greet guests on arrival, breakfast was not included, which for 5 star in Europe is unheard of, no turn down service and no attempts made to restock mini bar, which did not include any wine, also unheard of in France. Toiletries were not provided. There was a plastic container for soap and lotion attached to the wall. The area in which the hotel was located was lacking, no quality shops or restaurants on the street. No typical French shops or Boulangeries. Front desk was not 24 hour and room service and bar shut down early each evening. I would not recommend and would not stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. The staff are very professional, and they make sure to make you feel very welcome with very nice little touches. If you want to splurge a bit on a stay in Paris, you won’t be dissapointed.

We had a very comfortable stay. The room was well appointed with a small balcony. We liked the balance between modern comfort and the historical charm of the location. The staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Although we did not have time to use it during our stay, the other bonus was a spa and indoor pool in the basement.

Our stay at Hotel Bowmann was excellent!! The rooms are exactly as presented on Expedia. Actually, I think our room was better. The hotel staff was very attentive. We were greeted by friendly faces by the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff cleaned our room in the morning/afternoon and came by in the evening to see if we needed anything before they left for the evening. The air conditioning and the elevator worked our entire stay with no issues. Overall, we had an excellent stay and will definitely stay again.

Beautiful superior room with comfy bed. Slept so well and loved the decor. The staff were all really helpful and lovely. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on that. The spa was amazing, small but on Monday and Tuesday me and my husband were the only ones there so it was like a private spa! Would definitely return to the hotel as it’s also in a great location:

We just returned from an amazing trip to Paris. Our stay at Hotel Bowmann was wonderful. It was everything that we expected from a chic boutique hotel. We enjoyed that area of the 8th arr. It was near so much without feeling too overcrowded or touristy. The room was perfect. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Eric, the concierge helped us tremendously with recommendations and even made a dinner reservation for us at Margaux, a beautiful restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I would definitely stay here again.

The whole experience was very good including sll the high tech items such as remote control curtains.
