Hotel très bien situé au centre de Nimes. Très bon accueil. Hotel typique avec du charme. Chambres propres et confortable.

Excellent and welcoming staff. Very good location. The only drawbacks were: the washroom- Very high and slippery tub. Could have used a grab bar for safety. And a small console with drawers wold make fôr a more comfortable room.

Superbe hotel familial proche des arènes et calme grace a des fenetres doubles. A eviter l0ors des concerts et manifestations dans les arenes. A decouvrir sans moderation.

Lovely, warm welcome and help with recommendations of places to eat. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and bars, and also to the amphitheatre, which is definitely worth a visit. Nimes is a beautiful place and we're looking forward to a return trip.

Séjour extrêmement agréable dans un hôtel fort sympathique et joliment décoré. Emplacement excellent à proximité des lieux touristiques, du centre-ville et de nombreux commerces, cafés et restaurants.

We were given a room with no shower, only a tub with no curtain. Water went all over the floor. Hot water was either way too hot or way too cold.

The property was pristine shout-out to housekeeping. Only thing I would change is the breakfast. Not that enjoyable

On our visit to the south of France we decided to stop in Nîmes overnight to see the temples and Roman Coliseum. We chose Hotel de l’Ampitheatre for its proximity to the train station and the sights, and high ratings. We were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and charming, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. It felt like a lovely little Inn. If we travel to Nîmes again, we will not hesitate to return to this hotel

Lovely room. Friendly staff. Thursday evenings there is loud music in the square below. Breakfast was nice, outside options are also great.

This was a very pleasant and clean hotel in old town Nimes. Staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was a very good location. Our only issue was that has it retired couple traveling with luggage, we would have appreciated being informed that we were being put three stories up in a hotel with no elevator. We have now way of knowing how full the hotel was, but only saw two other guests and while we could have inquired about a different room, we were already in there and had already done the heavy lifting.

Right in the middle of everything in Nimes. So many excellent choices were within a 5 to 10 min walk. No elevator but the staff took our luggage up and down for us. Did not have breakfast (which looked great) because we went to a different cafe every day to take in the world. I would stay here again.

Great location!!! A well-kept hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Good for solo women travellers

This hotel was in a great location right by the Roman arena, restaurants and shops. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the train station, however we did not see any nearby parking if you have a car. Our room was large and quiet even though the window overlooked the pedestrian street. There were alot of stairs especially since we were on the top floor. The shower situation was very challenging as there is only a freestanding tub with a handheld attachment. There is no curtain so some water spray hits the floor. I actually took a hard fall to the floor when I slipped on the wet tile. I would not advise this hotel for a person who has mobility issues due to the stairs and tub situation. Otherwise this was a really lovely hotel with especially helpful and attentive employees.

Positiv: das Zimmer war hell, das Bett bequem, das Personal freundlich und es war mehrheitlich sauber, die Lage natürlich erstklassig. Negativ: Es hing ein unangenehmer Geruch im Eingangsbereich und Treppenhaus. Alles in allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Nous avons passez un agréable séjour à Nîmes, l'Hôtel est très bien situé par rapport au centre ville. Très calme.

We enjoyed our stay in this old but sympathetcally modernised building. It's very central, as the name suggests, and only a short, pleasant, walk from the station. Friendly and helpful people, not a bad breakfast. Spotlessly clean, if slightly faded and no lift but that goes with the building. Good value for what and where it is, we will probably stay again.
