호텔 드 바렌

오페라역에서 멀지 않은 7구 (숙소에서 걸어나가면 에펠탑이 보이는 구역) 이다 보니 안전하다는 느낌이 가장 컸습니다. 공항에서 교통권 때문에 마음 상해서 시작했는데 지하철역에서부터 친절한 파리지앵들을 많이 만나서 숙소까지 찾아가는 길도 멀지 않고 대사관 / 영사관 근처이기도 합니다. 숙소 자체는 깨끗하고, 엘레베이터와 욕실도 있어서 편안하게 쉬기 좋습니다. 다만, 도보로 많이 걷는 도시인데다가 카페트 문화이다 보니 슬리퍼를 꼭 챙겨주시면 좋을거 같아요. 조식은 다양한 빵과 시리얼, 삶은 계란, 우유나 핫초코 정도가 나오는데 잼도 매일 새거로 주시는거 같아요. 근데 맛있는 빵을 사먹고 싶어서 하루만 먹고 새벽부터 돌아다녔습니다. 에어컨도 냄새 없이 작동이 잘 됐고요. 트윈 침대였는데 사이즈도 넉넉하고 굉장히 편하게 잘 쉬었습니다. 아! 숙소 바로 옆에 현지인 빵 맛집이 있어요!! 맞은편에는 현지인 슈퍼가 있어서 급한 것들은 사기 좋습니다.

굉장히 아기자기하고 조용한 숙소입니다. 아침식사가 다양하지는 않지만 빵이 정말 맛있었어요. 직원분들도 친절하고 좋았습니다. 다만 뷰가 그냥 반대편 흰색 벽이라서 너무 별로였고 가격대비 룸 컨디션이 그렇게 좋았다고 말하기는 어렵습니다.

직원들은 친절하고 방은 밝고 조용했고 청소도 잘해 주셨어요 관광하기에 위치도 좋아요 조식은 맛있는데 다만 아침조식이 빵 버터와 잼 커피나 차 요구르트 오렌지쥬스인데 매일 똑같아요 과일 햄 치즈 사서 조식때 같이 먹었어요

주변 환경이 좋고 매우 안전한 지역입니다. 호텔 내부,외부가 아름답게 꾸며져 있고, 숙소 내부도 청결하고 직원분들도 모두 친절해서 너무 좋았습니다. 참고로 3주간 유럽 여행 중 꼼꼼한 제 아내가 가장 만족해 했던 호텔입니다.

We really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and clean room. Lovely entrance thru a pretty courtyard to property. Stayed in room 41, beautiful view of Eiffel Tower.

The hotel was clean, modern and well designed. The staff were the best hosts, very informative and kind. Would definitely stay here again!!

The location is marvelous and the staff even better. Our highest marks.

The staff was exceptional on all shifts. The location was lovely and felt very safe for walking. Several very nice restaurants nearby. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. We have recommended it already.

Really nice and helpful staff. The rooms aren’t the sort you find in chains but not in a bad way. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. The hotel itself is tucked away but close to metro stations and the Eiffel tower. Unfortunately, we did not have a room with view upon it, so I can’t comment on this. Would definitely return.

スタッフの対応はとても親切でした。部屋の設備も内装は落ち着くようにまとまっていてよかったですし、バスとシャワーもとても綺麗でした。 ただ、シャワーを浴びると、飛散防止のカバーが小さく、水が外に飛び散ってしまい、床が水浸しになってしまったのは残念でした。 また、連泊したのですが、バスローブをバスタブの中に入れるも替えて貰えず、お茶や綿棒などの消耗品も補充されたりされなかったりしたうえ、クリーニングも不十分だったのは少し不満が残りました。

The room was clean, well distributed, well equipped and comfortable. The staff was always available and ever so kind. The hotel is super well located, you can walk everywhere from it. I would stay here in the future for sure!

Excellent staff, location, cleanliness, will stay again!

My husband and I had an amazing stay! First, the location was perfect, even though the weather was cold, we walked eerywhere! From the outside, the hotel is lovely, the interior is charming and warm. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were worried about the typical small rooms in Paris hotels, so we booked the suite. It was certainly more space than we needed for two, but at the end of a busy day, we felt like we were returning to a luxurious apartment that had been carefullly attended to. We will absolutely stay there again!

So here you will see my full, extensive review. To keep it efficient and best for you, I will write both a short and a long version — whichever works best for you! In short: The room facilities were not functional at all. The toilet and shower were not draining. The hotel’s solution was to take no action or change the room. To be honest, they said it was fully booked — but that doesn’t make their problem mine. The only reason I chose this hotel was its location and the fact that it’s a classic. My review: We arrived at check-in, dropped our luggage, and went out for dinner after a six-hour drive from the Netherlands. When we returned to our room, the toilet didn’t drain. We spoke to the reception to fix it or change the room. The staff member on duty that night tried to clear it himself, which only made it lock while not in use — it would only flush water. If you used the toilet for its actual purpose, it would not flush. Then we moved to the shower to refresh, and again it wasn’t draining. I went back to the night shift team, and the only response I got was “okay” — with absolutely zero effort to fix anything. The next morning around 9:30–10:00, I asked for the manager. She wasn’t there yet, so I gave the keys back to the reception and kindly asked them to find a solution. When I escalated through Expedia, they said they had spoken to the manager, who confirmed “everything works as it should.” When I returned in the evening, nothing was fixed, and no notes were left for th

Nice clean rooms. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was mediocre.

The hotel is old and the rooms and facilities are really outdated. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable but all furnishings were really outdated. Location is good.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Well cared for property, quite intimate. Always thoughtful, 24 hour front desk, eager to help. Breakfast are continental breakfast, fresh pastries. Area of the hotel is quiet, and access to Metro is quite easy. Enjoyed our 11 day stay.

3rd stay at the wonderful Hotel de Varenne. The staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful and professional. Rooms are very quiet & comfortable. Hotel de Varenne is a true Paris gem with old world charm in a lovely location. Looking forward to our next visit.
