장점: 5구에 가까운 6구인 중심지에 있고, 그래서 주변이 비교적 조용하기도 하고 거의 대부분의 관광지를 걸어서 갈 수 있다. 치안도 괜찮고 조식 무난함 단점: 방이 꽤 옛날 건물을 개조한 느낌이 많이 든다(처음 들어갔을 때 좀 당황했다.) 창 밖 뷰가 다른 건물 지붕이고 많이 안좋다. 샤워기 헤드가 고장나고 샤워실이랑 화장실이 너무 좁다...방음도 잘 안되는듯 결론: 다른건 다 포기하고, (적당한 방값에) 조용하고 치안이 괜찮으면서, (소매치기를 피하거나 파리 거리를 느껴보기 위해) 지하철을 안 타고 걸어서 여행하겠다!하는 사람에게 강추. 저는 정확히 이 기준으로 방을 잡았기 때문에 저에게는 베스트였습니다.

우선 도착 첫인상은 좋았음ㆍ유서깊은 건물로보여서 약간의 낙후된건 이해함ㆍ3박했는데 프로트에서 5층중 2층 둿편 골방으로 배정받앗음ㆍ교체를 요구했으나 거절당함ㆍ다른방들은 좋아보이나 왜 우리한데 그방을 배정했는지 이해불가ㆍ서툰 영어로 더이상 요구어려움ㆍ이층 7호실(프랑스에선 1층 ) 절대 숩박하면 안됌ㆍ축축 햇빛한점없음ᆢ뒷편 더러운 지붕만 보임ㆍ와이프가 여러차례 강력요구후 마지막밤은 앞쪽으로 교체ㆍ천국의 방같음ㆍ절대 그방은 팔아서는 안됨 ㆍ

두명 겨우 탈수있는 엘리베이터와 잠기지 않는 문.. 도난 당할까봐 걱정하게되는 상황이었음. 호텔직원은 맹한표정으로 귀찮아 했음. 하지만 원하는 것은 투덜대며 다 해줌. 고마웠던것은 새벽 4시40분 택시를 예약해준 것.

Double room ($240) was extremely small and grubby. Good location.

Fabulous medieval hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter - close to everything! Loved my stay!

It has a rustic charm and a stellar location. It may not be luxurious but it was perfect for me and at a very good price.

I had a memorable stay here. The staff is wonderful! I speak French but the reception staff also speaks multiple languages including English. The petit-déjeuner was included and was just the ticket to start off the day - a nice light French breakfast but if you want larger fare or outside dining, there are excellent restaurants around the corner. There are also faster food restaurant options within a short walking distance and the staff speak multiple languages - English is typically the fall back language. The Saint-Germain des Pres area is very safe during the day and in the evening. The most dangerous thing I encountered were the tourists on bicycles - look out for them!😬I was there for 4 weeks and I came and went at all times of the day including in the wee hours of the morning and saw nothing concerning. There is also a nice grocery store around the corner and you can get most everything you might want - including fresh baked goods and even a small salad bar. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Seine and Notre-Dame. The Louvre is about 15 minutes and is a beautiful walk along the Seine and you can browse the wares of the bouquinistes on the way!

I really like this hotel because it is centrally located yet very quiet. Is my second time staying here

Hôtel bien placé et bon petit déjeuner mais odeur d’égouts très très forte dans la chambre sans possibilité d’ouvrir la fenêtre sur cour dans la nuit à cause du bruit des climatisations dans la cour. Impossible de dormir à cause de cette odeur.

Good location, near many metros. Clean. Very basic rooms, smallest lift I’ve ever seen, but better than the unsafe stairs. I think it would be fine if it was 1/3 of the price. It is at max a $EUR100 a night room.

Charming building with historical architecture and fixtures intact. Air conditioned room and they have an elevator. Breakfast served daily. Location ideal for me. Metro nearby, safe, walkable neighborhood. Comfortable bed.

Great location, friendly staff.

I spent 3 nights followed later by a single night. The hotel is in an excellent position, near to the Odeon metro and is excellent value for this location. On both occasions the rooms were clean and comfortable if a little basic. The continental breakfast provided sets you up well for the day. The staff are friendly, helpful and obliging. The lift is the narrowest I have experienced, with space for only one person (with a small backpack) and a single piece of luggage. It adds to the charm of the place which is decorated in a late 19th century style. Recommended
