450 euros pour une chambre 3 personnes et petits -dejeuners ( pas du tout à la hauteur: pas de cocotiers ( il fallait attendre que les rares cocotiers se libèrent) pas de jus de fruits frais, pas divers pains etc…décevant ! Chambre pomme de douche ds la baignoire ko, donc douche non possible , liquide pour laver les mains inaccessible. Des marches ds tous les sens ( le prix devrait être en conséquence) se rendre à la chambre, se rendre au petit déjeuner

The reception of the hotel it is very bad signalised. Our rooms, 411 and 410, were in another building. The toilets are next to the shower, so it is not possible to sit. It is the narrow space. Also, the little fan in the room was not working and the staff spoke poor English. The hotel it is overpriced for what they offer.

Very difficult to find. Make sure you get the gate code, but good luck finding the gate. I gave up, parked in a public lot and walked. Now That I know where everything is, it is easy, but the first time? Good luck.

Terrible. Does not match the pictures. First, at check-in everything was great; they gave us a room when settled in and shortly went to visit the abbey. Then a half hour in our visit, walking around the abbey, having to pay the entrance. Someone incessantly kept calling us with a French number. We thought, “Oh my goodness, something happened back home.” We called, and it was the person at the front desk telling us we needed to return immediately, so we rushed back and seriously thought maybe something happened back home. Then, long and behold, the reception desk tells us that they gave us the wrong room and that our room is in an apartment building. We changed rooms after running back; we grabbed our bags and changed rooms. The new room, located in an apartment building, was gross. The bathroom was disgusting, and not to mention that there isn’t AC despite advertising otherwise. Then, the front desk, to apologize, offered two dinner vouchers to their restaurant. Oh my goodness, what was that for? We went downstairs, and the hostess at the restaurant started yelling at us that there is nothing as such a dinner on them. So, she calls the front desk, and they tell her to offer us a menu. Mind you, it was already 7pm and they want us to eat an omelette even after I told the hostess I had an egg allergy. Luckily, after they sat us down, the waitress was so sweet and said, “Just order what you’d like,” which is what we did, WW III broke out the hostess almost killed us.

Great location! Comfortable but a room that could use some tlc. Breakfast was wonderful and located in a beautiful room. Please make sure you have a gate code to access parking!! Followup on the emails.

Its was a great place to stay. Easy checking in and out process.

Extremely small room, no air conditioning. Bugs in the room, and pour water pressure in the bathroom. Broken toilet, room is generally old and worn.

Hotel ok. Serviço bom. Nada de mais.

Was not the experience I expected but it was in the heart of Mont Saint Michel so that was the experience. Worth the overnight experience, but one night is enough.

Le breakfast est excellent La chambre est vétuste. Moquette ancienne au sol. Odeur de urines de chat à l entrée du bâtiment. C est dommage.

I tried to contact the property numerous times, by text and phone calls, no answer and no reply. I tried to cancel my reservation as France was having a 108°F. 42°C heatwave. The property has no air conditioning, which I knew, but being a deathly record high heatwave there was no way we could have been remotely comfortable. I couldn't cancel. We had to make last minute change of plans for a hotel with air conditioning. The next morning I received a notice that I was billed for the room. Extremely disappointed in the communication and lack of response to my texts.

We stayed on Mont St Michel at La Mere Poulard. Beautiful views and the property is rich with history. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the central location to check in was easy, the staff will assist you if you need it

The hotel is simple, but it’s perfect for spending one night and enjoying the unique experience of staying on Mont Saint-Michel. I would not recommend it for people who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs, as there is quite a bit of walking and many stairs to reach the hotel. We recommend packing a small bag with just what you need for the night instead of bringing large suitcases. If you’re visiting in the summer, be aware that there is no air conditioning, so it can get very hot during warm weather. However, the location is absolutely beautiful, and the experience is definitely worth it. The staff were very kind and even helped us with our luggage, which we really appreciated.

Avoid Le Mare Poulard. No AC despite a global warning of highest recorded temperatures. One single ineffective table fan - no second one given despite request. Zero ventilation! Extremely difficult circumstances for us 72 & 80 years old couple. We were given a room on the 4th floor. Carried our own bags! Breakfast want fresh except perhaps the Croissant. Horrible experience in a wonderful place.

Géniale la chambre 409 de L ermitage avec vues sur mer et abbaye. Chambre super propre. Petit déjeuner copieux,service impeccable. Le personnel de l accueil et de la restauration souriant et très disponible. Merci pour ce magnifique séjour.

The room was very clean, well equipped bathroom, very comfortable mattress. The staffs are helpful, one helped carrying our heavy luggage and send to our room on the 4th floor in an uphill building, which we very appreciated. The breakfast is rather simple and basic, not as expected. Overall, it is a very nice hotel in Mont Saint Michel, close and convenient to what you come to. Do need to be prepared for climbing many steps and stores to you room.

Be prepared for stairs if you’re staying in Room 301. The view was fantastic and one of the best parts of the stay. Breakfast was good, and the location on the island is hard to beat. However, the hotel is showing its age and could use some TLC. The room did not have a safe, and while there is a bathtub, hotel staff informed us that none of the tubs have stoppers, so taking a bath isn’t really possible. The dining experience was not up to French standards. During dinner, three different servers were unable to tell us what meat was being served on our plate. They even checked with the kitchen and still couldn’t provide an answer. The dining room was also quite warm. Cleanliness was a concern. There were dead flies in the window seals throughout the hotel. After returning from a hike, we found a random German prescription pill on the floor and another crushed pill nearby. We know this was not related to housekeeping during our stay because we had declined housekeeping service that morning. We reported this to the staff, but the only response we received was that they thought it was strange. We stayed two nights on the island, and in our opinion, the only restaurant truly worth visiting was Sainte-Catherine. Overall, the incredible view and convenient location were highlights, but housekeeping, maintenance, and staff knowledge left a lot of room for improvement.

Our room was fabulous. The decor, comfort, and cleanliness of the room was great. We had a kingsize bed with the couch, chairs, a refrigerator with 2 waters, and three windows that opened to the front of the Mont. We were provided with a fan and there was tons of storage space (more than we needed for one night stay). The reason for less than a 5 star is due to a few reasons. One, we did not receive enough toilet paper. They did not start us out with a new roll and only had a small bit on the roll from previous guests. The general cleanliness outside of the room was not great. The breakfast area was a bit gross. The wall next to our table had something spilled all over it which looked to be an older spill that was now sticky. The general free breakfast buffet area was a disaster when we arrived for breakfast with our stay and there were no scrambled eggs left to eat (btw, this is not the same as their main restaurant). The part that bothered me the most was that their water glasses smelled like fish water which made the whole breakfast not enjoyable.

Parking is a bit of a hassle, but the staff was helpful once connected with them. The property was truly unique and welcoming.
