Bien placé mais accès aux chambres sans ascenseur pour les étages avec les bagages c’est pas simple

A nice small hotel above a restaurant. The room was a bit small but otherwise excellent. The staff were brilliant.

Que dire, pas chauffage, pas d'eau chaude, et le WIFI ne fonctionne pas. Pas la peine d'appeler l'accueil ils le savent mais ne peuvent rien faire. Merci au revoir circulez rien a voir. Je ne parle même pas du bruit, j'ai eu l'impression que nous étions plusieurs dans la chambre. Même pas une excuse ou un geste sur la facture. A 150 euros la chambre, a fuir.

Very well situated opposite Cherbourg harbour and 10 minutes from ferries. Breakfast very good and staff friendly and efficient. Room very spacious although it should noted that there is no lift and persons with mobility issues will struggle.

Excellent emplacement de l'hôtel face devant le port. Accueil très chaleureux et professionnel de l'ensemble du personnel. Chambre confortable et cosy. Le estaurant de l'hôtel est excellent, inutile de chercher ailleurs une bonne table.....

Pas d'eau chaude, télécommande cassé, très mal isolé, canalisation très bruyante lorsque les autres clients vont aux toilettes. Télévision toute petite. Petite attention le matin de la dame de l'accueil qui m'a donné des minis pains aux chocolat et croissants à emporter car il lui en restait.

Même si l'hôtelier qui vient de reprendre l'établissement me garanti qu'il va faire le nécessaire, passer une nuit dans une literie infestée de punaises sans pouvoir le contacter fut une expérience des plus désagréable.

Rien a voir avec un hotel 3 etoiles , une chambre double ou le lit pour 2 personnes est finalement 2 lits de 1 personne rapproché, baigboire balnéothérapie difficilement utilisable vu le bruit, tuyeau de douche cassé, ampoule de ma salle de bain en mode clignotement et tres peu de choix au petit déjeuné. Plusieurs petits hôtels sur cherbourg bien plus complet et moins cher, cu le montabt d ela xhambre de celui ci .

La chambre 9 est minuscule et sa salle de bains aussi Le wifi ne fonctionne pas Le restaurant est bien et les serveurs agreable

I booked a family room (room 23). The room is in another building than the one showing on all the pictures. The entrance to the building is through the back which is not good. The room is in the third floor with a very narrow stair case. The view is to the back yo a broken roof of another building. In the bed room, there is tiny corridor with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. It is not usable for a family. Do not book the family room if you have a buggy.

J’etais dans l’annexe d l’hotel au rdc. Les cuisines du restaurant étant à côté, j’ai eu l’impression d’y dormir... Ensuite l’annexe est très bruyante avec les autres chambres.

Really enjoyed the view and the staff. Excellent food. Atmosphere was very charming.

Had a lovely overnight here on our way to catch the ferry home.staff really helpful and friendly.our room was on third floor and as no lift we had a steep climb upstairs. Enjoyed a fabulous meal on Valentine's night,really pleased we had prebooked this as was a sell out on the night.very convenient for ferryport.

Chose this hotel based on reviews, quaint and personal hotel, we had a lovely time! We were greeted with a helpful and friendly touch and shown to our room, he insisted he carried my girlfriends luggage. We had a room overlooking the pretty harbour, the room and bathroom were spotless and we'll maintained. We had dinner in the hotel, which was delicious to say the least, everything was locally sourced and cooked from fresh, at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend la regence and look forward to staying there again.

Loved this hotel for its ambiance and food. Staff were mainly very helpful and kind. It has a lovely 40's/50's style based on the heydays of the transatlantic liners. We loved it. will go back if we can. However, the food is a little overpriced but it is very good. Lovely photo of Richard Burton, Liz Taylor and other stately liners. The hotel was cool on a very hot day but form some reason our room number 10 was incredibly hot!! We should have complained really but it seems silly to complain about the heat on a hot day!! I noticed as we left that this room is above the kitchen. Could that be the reason? Air con would have solved the issue. The other note is parking. There is a large municipal car park to the rear but you have to pay. I am not sure of the charges as we arrived juts before 6 on Saturday and it seems to be free from 1900 in the evenings and the all day Sunday, so we just drove out with no charge for an overnight stay. There was also some disturbance from yobs in the early hours but it was only for a short time. There is a note asking you to call a certain number in this the event of a disturbance so I guess this may be an issue occasionally? Overall, this did not bother us too much. still a lovely hotel.
