The room is a decent size however the shower had black mold on the lower portion of the tiled shower walls. Then there was that huge rainfall shower which gives off so much water that the drain couldn't handle the overflow. It was always leaking into the rest of the bathroom floor. But check in was a breeze, Laureen was fantastic. She gave us excellent dining options as well as options available at the hotel. I had a problem with the booking as we soon discovered that there was no refrigerator in the room when the listing in Expedia showed that all their rooms supposedly had them. Luckily Laureen came to the rescue to save the day. She also changed the property listing with Expedia, I hope. Merci beaucoup Laureen! Hotel was very near the beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed our stay. Yes, I will stay here again hopefully the grout situation has been resolved.

A charming hotel in the old town of Biarritz and well located. It's in a pedestrian street so taxis set down / pick up in the nearby square and it's an easy walk from there. Hotel lobby is just a corridor. The rooms (recently refurbished) we were allocated were large and quiet - at the rear of the property. The tropical decor is interesting if misplaced in Biarritz. Bedrooms had very comfortable beds but valances need replacing. Furniture is modern and sufficient although bedside tables and lighting could be improved. The "design feature holes" in the cupboarding were a bit of a hazard - knobs would be less so ! Bathrooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast self service in the hotel's café is at street level and is open to the general hungry public. However, never a problem in being seated and the buffet is very well presented and delicious. Staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Speaking French is an asset !

J'ai ADORÉ loger au Palmito! J'ai tout aimé et si je reviens à Biarritz je logerai à nouveau ! Je recommande sans hésitation. Le personnel est ultra sympathique, courtois, souriant et serviable ! Les chambres sont grandes et bien décorées. On est confortable. J'avais une chambre avec petit balcon et vue sur l'océan, magnifique ! Merci Palmito ! Je m'ennuie déjà !

Wonderful property with helpful workers. I had a brief issue with being double-charged, but they got that fixed quickly. The area is lovely: Port-Vieux is covered in restaurants and shops and is inaccessible to cars, so it's a very popular pedestrian spot. Unfortunately, this makes it a less than optimal choice for morning people, as the food market across the street does not close until midnight and plays loud music until then which is clearly audible through the windows. The crowds do not disperse until about 1am. If you have a 9am engagement the next day, you will be suffering.

Hotel location is excellent right in the center. For that reason though you need to park away from it and roll your luggage. In the summer this is quite a challenge especially between 12 and 6 pm as parkings are small and packed The actual rooms are tiny with minimal space, staff is not particularly friendly or helpful, walls and ceiling are very thin so you just hope for quiet neighbours.

Schönes modernes Hotel, mitten in der Stadt. Direkt vor der Tür gibt es eine Vielzahl an Restaurants und auch verschiedene Strände sind fußläufig erreichbar. Leider gibt es keine Parkmöglichkeit und die Parkhäuser in der Umgebung sind recht teuer, dass sollte man bei einem Besuch mit dem Auto im Hinterkopf behalten.

We wanted to send a quick note to mention that Elliott’s and Loraine’s help with getting our room earlier, making it easy with the luggage and late check out - all of this made the vacation in Biaritz extremely amazing. The Palmito suite with the terrace also made a difference - we C spent time in warm weather reading, having a glass of wine, enjoying morning coffee. Friendly staff made us feel always welcome.

Great hotel near the Petite Plage! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cute decor, great amenities and wonderful staff!!! A great hotel for families or friends and couples, accommodating to everyone great location in Biarritz!

Hotel carino ma con parecchie cose che non tornano. La stanza era minuscola e affacciava su un cavedio buio, quindi niente luce né vista. Il letto era piccolo (140 cm) e il materasso aveva una conca centrale, scomodissimo. In bagno mancava la crema idratante e non c’erano teli di cortesia per il mare, cosa che in una località balneare uno si aspetta. La colazione, pur servita nel loro bel caffè aperto al pubblico, era molto basic: niente piatti caldi, solo l’essenziale. E l’ultimo giorno abbiamo avuto una piccola intossicazione alimentare con qualcosa mangiato lì. Inoltre, il penultimo giorno si sono proprio dimenticati di rifare la stanza. Per dormire serve fortuna: si sentono i bassi della musica da qualche locale vicino fino a ben oltre mezzanotte. Un vero peccato, perché lo staff è stato davvero gentile, sempre disponibile e ci hanno anche fatto uno sconto sulla colazione. Ma in generale, esperienza deludente.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location near the town beach. Lovely set up with Palmito restaurant across the road for breakfast. An absolute gem in Biarritz for those wanting to experience the best of what the city has to offer. We will be back for more surf, more food and a lovely hotel to stay in
