I picked one of the colored rooms on the site but sadly got a different one, the staff sadly just tried to fill up the first rooms and move from there to fill the others instead of giving more space. the location is great but the rest is normal. too many people walking around so they removed my clothes from the windows where i tried to dry them

I booked a second different private room hoping it was better. It was freezing cold!!!. It dropped down to maybe 5 degrees in the night. Owner wouldnt put heating on, trying to save $0.50 like an old soviet grandmother. Common area also cold, everyone in hostel walks around with jumpers and jackets on with the cold, absolutely rediculous. Floors werent cleaned in my room. Toilet paper is rationed like in russia in 1990s, you get given 1/2 to 1 toilet roll per day and harrassed if you want more. Easier to just buy your own. TV only had Youtube and no TV channels, no Netflix. Staff only 10/10 thing here. Owner needs to be an owner and not manager. Needs to step back and not control anything. He would have a 10/10 hostel if he put the friendly professional staff as the manager.

I stayed in a private room with no window. It was bad. Damp, humid, freezing cold from no warm heating and ventilation. Owner is ex soviet mentality and wants to save $0.50 on electricity like an old lady. Needs to be fixed by the owner immediately! No fitted sheets on the bed, wrong size bed sheets. TV was useless, only had Youtube, no TV channels at all or Netflix. Overall an awful room. Common kitchen is good, common area good. Staff were the only 10/10 thing in this hostel. The reviews are only high because of excellent staff. The private room was awful.
