Area around hotel can be a little rough at night. Traveling in groups is good idea. Convient to subway and large variety of restaurants. A number of markets are also available. Definately a buxget option in a large city. Would stay again.

the hotel by itself was great with staff,i asked about usa power connetion or USB connecion for charging my phones they said there is no connection and i have to buy it,but on 2nd day i found connection in bathroom under the hair dryer.about the area i should be unest to say all athens was filling unsafe at night because of homeless & addicted all around,so i recommend this hotel with great breakfast and great price.cause its 10-15 min walk only to get to center.

Unpolite staff, bad service, dirty room and mold in the bathroom. Ac not working 23-25,5 celcius. Bad breakfast. Long waiting for the elevators, had to climb 5 floors most of the time. Handle to the bathroomdoor was broken and laid next to the sink, two times promised it would be fixed, but no result. Location in a very bad location, unsavourable people just outside the front door. Best case scenario a -3 star hotel.

Muito boa! Ótimo serviço de quarto. Tudo limpo. O banheiro tinha um cheiro forte e uma infiltração no banheiro. E a localização não é boa. Muito morador de rua e viciados!

Knowing it's in the heart of Athens, many non-kid friendly (adult activities) could be around, but it's safe to walk around and no one approaches you. The hotel itself is a bit older and needs renovations. The rooms were clean but they need some work. The best part was the breakfast buffet. Great food, clean area, and big variety.

Not good location or choice... for me not 4 stars !

The hotel is fine. The problem is the staff. They are very unhuman. I planned my vacations since months back and as I landed Athens I received the sad news of my mother's passing away. Immediately I went to the hotel organize my return home for the next day. I explained the front desk and contacted the reservations department, to see if I would get a partial refund or have a credit for my next stay. The were very unsympathetic. These emergencies happens and this hotel managers are only caring of making money.

Penso ci sia stato un errore…questo hotel non è un 5 stelle in tutto: posizione, servizio, cura e colazione sono quelle da 2/3 stelle massimo. L’unica cosa positiva è che la camera era spaziosa e aveva un piccolo balconcino (1m x 1m)

Chambre très grande et confortable. Les attentions (café, eau, ...) sont présentes. L'environnement de l'hôtel n'est pas terrible et les bruits de la rue persistent même avec les fenêtres fermées. Quelques défauts dans la chambre (parquet mal posé, traces d'une petite inondation...) n'ont pas altéré notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner est tout à fait correct et les personnels sont très attentifs.

OK...first the hotel was decent. The morning breakfast was great. The room was clean (however the bathroom door handle fell off). The hotel desk folks were not the warmest or welcoming. The elevators were kind of wonky-some times they worked sometimes they didn't. Now, when I booked the room I had not looked at the area around the hotel - when I finally got around to looking at the street view I was very dismayed. The area did not look safe. I also started to read reviews that solidified what I saw. I knew I couldn't get a refund so I kept the reservation. Here's the thing, not only is the area around Boss Boutique really bad, ALL of Athens is in the same state! I think anywhere you book a room will be in or very near a bad area. So, not the hotels fault. I overheard the hotel receptionist arguing with someone on the phone and she stated "all of Athens is like this, it is a very poor city". So hard to believe that a place that is a major tourist area could be so downtrodden. Sad.

Perfect service, breakfast and cleaning, the neighborhood is a little dangerous but no problem.

Excellent service. Nice little touches to make the guest feel take care of, like a complimentary bottle of wine and an offer of a boxed breakfast when I had to check out very early. They kindly arranged a taxi airport transfer and were very pleasant. Also appreciated high-tech convenience such as buttons inside the suite to indicate DND.
