Excellent accommodation. Friendly and supportive staff, lovely location. Amazing breakfast. room was lovely and clean and the extra touches such as water bottles and beach bag were appreciated.

It was by far the most pleasant and clean room we have had. The staff treated us like one of the family.

The Hotel is in a beautiful spot overlooking Elounda Bay. The staff are charming and friendly and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The food is amazing and mostly comes from their own gardens. We cannot recommend it more highly.

Great service

Elounda Heights was well balanced all around and “just right.” The hotel is close to the main town but up a steep hill. This is really the only negative thing about the place, as it is about 600 steps to get up to the top, but we didn’t have any challenges from this. The reward is that the hotel is quiet, secluded, and enjoys spectacular views of the town and bay. Each room in this property is a bit different so we can only comment on our own, which was directly across from the pool and enjoyed an adjacent private terrace up a small set of stairs with private sunbeds and a bistro table and chair set for two. A one-bedroom with a stall shower and kitchenette, it was perfect for our five night stay and would have been comfortable for longer trips. The pool area is small but was never crowded and has a great pool cafe where breakfast is served in the morning. Breakfast was included and we found it quite good with their own pastries, breads, jams and a choice of main course (egg dishes, yogurt or fruit plates). It was perfect for us. The pool cafe turns into a bar and snack bar for the afternoons. The hotel features a main bar and dining room, for meals at a la carte. Staff service we found to be exceptional and friendly. In addition to English, French is also widely spoken at the hotel, which was not the case everywhere on the island. We found the hotel a perfect mix and good value for money. We will come back, we will bring friends, and we will stay longer.

Dette hotel er det bedste af de mange hundrede hoteller jeg har boet på. På ALLE områder tilbyder hotellet og dets personale bare lidt mere end man forventer. Hotellets eneste lille minus, er den meget stejle opkørsel.

This was one of the nicest places that we have stayed in crete...accomodation was excellent ..excellent staff nothing too much trouble...food excellent...only reason I have put 4 for location is due to elevated position access road being steep but would not put us off...we hope to return soon...

The location is superb with wonderful views over the bay yet easy access to the town of Elounda. However, you could almost never leave Elounda Heights as the owner makes breakfast lunch and dinner with such finesse and good humour that one is highly tempted just to lie back and enjoy it all. Everything is arranged for your enjoyment and convenience and nothing is too much trouble. We will be returning as soon as we can.

The location and view from the rooms at this hotel is simply fantastic. Terrific value. The staff is also excellent--very helpful and friendly. I would note, however, that the A/C in at least our room, was somewhat sub-optimal and once activated on our arrival, it took the better part of the night to bring the room to a comfortable temperature. I would recommend asking the hotel staff to turn it on in advance of your arrival, if you plan to be remaining in the room immediately upon check-in. Other than that small point, absolutely no complaints.
