Superbe hôtel avec vue imprenable sur la mer. Excellent service et la nourriture aux repas est de très bonne qualité et en quantité illimitée.

Superbe hôtel, face à une plage privée accessible par un accès sous terrain très pratique. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien agencées et confortables. La restauration excellente et le personnel aux petits soins… nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Notre chambre était simple mais confortable. Dommage qu'il y ai eu des soucis d'étanchéité au niveau de la porte de la douche. Très belle terrasse, mais problèmes de vis à vis générale au niveau de l'ensemble des chambres. La rue en face de l'hôtel n'est pas gênante -accès facilité à la plage directe- Buffet complet le matin (dommage pas de vrai jus d'orange) et bonne restauration le soir selon les thèmes (nouveaux thèmes tous les soirs; très bien en général sauf soirée asiatique). Et pour finir un bravo générale sur la qualité, la gentillesse et l'amabilité de l'ensemble du personnel !!!

We had a great 10 days stay in the hotel. Excellent facilities and a great pool area on the top of the hill. The room was advertised as a swim-up room with a little misleading picture here in Expedia. Instead of the swim-up rooms that share a long pool on the terrace area we lived at the pool site around two buildings with approx 10 room. Actually the better choice as it was very calm, was equipped with sunbeds for e very room and additional canopies. Had a great view towards the sea and the sunset every night. You just need to beware if you expect the same room as shown in the pictures. Great selection of food with different themes every day. Staff was a little slow at times, but still friendly.

Très bel hôtel,récent avec très belle vue et accès à la plage direct.Personnel accueillant,service attentionné et buffet petit déjeuner et dîner très copieux et varié.Chambre très bien agencée même si la cabine de douche est un peu petite.Coin bar/piscine très agréable.Hôtel sur plusieurs niveaux donc peut être compliqué pour les personnes avec enfants et les personnes ayant du mal à se déplacer.Grande terrasse,malheureusement groupe de climatisation très bruyant par moment s.Fourniture de peignoirs qui malheureusement n’étaient pas de toute première jeunesse.En conclusion,nous recommandons cet hôtel dans lequel nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Exceptionnel ! Séjourné dans cet hôtel à été un réel plaisir. Très bon standing, l’établissement est bien entretenu et propre. Le personnel vous accueille avec le sourire quotidiennement que ce soit à la réception passant par le restaurant jusqu’au spa. Efficaces et professionnels, ils mettent du cœur pour vous satisfaire en tout point. Mentions spéciales pour l’équipe du restaurant : Doula, Pavlos, Rey, manos, le chef qui nous a régalé du matin au soir ( large choix, produits de qualité) et aussi le bagagiste muni de sa voiturette de golf Angelos qui très attentionné et touchant. La plage est belle avec un accès sous terrain rapide, les transats à votre disposition vous apporte un confort optimal. Et surtout, le calme qui vous entoure car l’hôtel est situé dans une zone un peu isolé. Bref, je vous recommande mille fois cet hôtel pour un séjour réussi.

La struttura in sé per sé merita, è molto scenica, con una bella piscina con bar; la camera è molto pulita e spaziosa, con piscina privata anch’essa molto pulita, la maggior parte del personale è cordiale, apparte un paio di elementi più scontrosi! Ma sono alcune le lacune che ho notato, in primis la spiaggia dell hotel è tenuta in pessime condizioni, con sabbia sporca lettine tutti disordinati e sporchi, poi non mi è piaciuto il servizio pulizie : la camera è pulita, ma non si può uscire alle 8.00 del mattino e alle 12.00 ancora la camera non è stata riordinata, con un bimbo piccolo diventa molto difficile; ultima cosa che mi ha davvero molto deluso, non per il prezzo ma per il gesto: mi è stato fatto pagare un caffè macchiato preso nella sala colazioni durante la colazione, prima volta che mi è capitato nella vita: secondo loro è stato preso nella beach pool, ma non è stato così! In conclusione con 350€ a notte ci si aspetta molto ma molto di più e soprattutto maggior attenzione alle famiglie che hanno bimbi piccoli, evitando di dare camere alla fine della scalinata

Worst hotel experience in Crete – avoid if you have a baby or mobility issues We stayed in 3 hotels during our trip to Crete, and we visit Greece twice a year – this was by far the worst experience. The hotel is absolutely not suitable for parents with a baby or anyone with reduced mobility: steep slopes, stairs everywhere (bar, restaurant, beach). We booked a sea view room as shown in the photos, but got a noisy room facing the main road, with constant traffic and hotel staff passing. They dared to say it was “better for a baby.” No baby cot was provided – just an unsecured sofa. How is a 5-month-old supposed to sleep on that? We asked for a change – they said “we’ll call you tomorrow.” No one called. Worse: they claimed they called the room while we told them we’d be out. Result? Wasted our time and ruined our day. They don’t know how to manage anything. No apology, no empathy, just “that’s how it is.”

The breakfast was excellent in terms of choices and quality. The dinner was ok, but being a buffet drops the quality. Still good selection, but it felt like buffet. Not really a problem but being a Greek I am used to have better cooked dinner from restaurants, but for buffet style food was still quite good

Das Hotel ist perfekt für alle, die Erholung suchen. Durch die Hanglage hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Es gibt zwei Gemeinschaftspools, einen davon an der Poolbar. Viele der Zimmer haben einen eigenem Pool (empfehlenswert), andere teilen weitere größere Pools, die dann auch nur von den Zimmern mit „Swim-up“-Option genutzt werden können (diese sind nicht für die Allgemeinheit - bspw. der auf den Fotos zu sehende „schlangenförmige“ Pool). Das Essen war gut und abwechslungsreich. Der Service war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Alles war super sauber, sowohl unser Zimmer als auch der Rest der Anlage. Für Unternehmungen ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert, da fußläufig nichts erreichbar ist (nach Ierapetra sind es ca. 25-30min zu Fuß). Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Empfang. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Swim Up Pool, echt toll, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Although we were overall satisfied with the hotel, I will describe both the positive and negative experiences we had! The hotel is a complex built in a modern style with a villa-like layout. Our room was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a surprise: a fruit platter and a bottle of champagne! The staff was kind, smiling, and helpful. After we booked the room, we found out from the confirmation that dinner in addition to breakfast was also included in the price. It was fantastic! There were so many food options. Delicious, flavorful dishes! And now for the negatives: When we arrived, the room temperature was 30.5°C (86.9°F)! Since we were only given one key card, and the air conditioning only worked with the card, the room kept heating up again whenever we left. The booking photos showed a balcony with a sun lounger but instead, we got a balcony facing a walkway, with just two chairs and a small table, and this was also where the entrance to the room was. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to sit out there! The hotel has several design flaws. Most balconies face common areas, so there’s zero privacy! In addition, the shower leaked, the toilet kept running, and an unpleasant smell constantly came into the room from the bathroom. Every morning, we were woken by the slamming of the cleaning room door and the loud talking of the staff. Despite all this, it’s up to everyone to decide whether they would like to stay here or not.

Et fantastisk sted 25 minutter gangavstand fra strandpromenaden i Ierapetra. Høy standard, stille og rolig, nydelig mat, fantastisk beliggenhet i nydelige omgivelser og ikke minst veldig hyggelige ansatte. Det frister med et nytt og lengre opphold.

Das enorme Santana Beach Hotel ist absolut beeindruckend – neu, modern und stilvoll gestaltet. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die vielen Zimmer mit privatem Pool – ein echtes Highlight, das den Aufenthalt unvergesslich macht. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Luxus und Entspannung suchen!

Nice room & amazing view. Lovely welcome fruit platter & bubbly. However my room offered no shade after 2pm. No umbrellas. Apparently because of wind. Guess they don't know about concrete base umbrellas. So impossible to sit outside most of the day. Food very average. Built on a hill. Golf buggies available to drive you back up. Wouldn't want to be dependent on that in high season.
