메트로폴리스 호텔

3인실을 예약했는데 워낙 좁아 캐리어 펼 자리도 없고.. 화장실은 1인이 이용해도 너무 비좁은 공간이었고 워낙 위치가 좋아서인지 밤에도 바깥 소음이 그대로 전달되는 방이었습니다.. 방음장치가 부족하여 다른 방 수도물 소리까지.. 직원분들은 매우 친절하지만 시설이 좀 부족한 그런 곳이었습니다..

This hotel is okay for a night or two. Feels a bit old and not very maintained. The room was too small but the staff was helpful and nice. The best with this hotel is the location just next to Monastiraki metro and with shops and restaurants on the doorstep. If arriving from the airport, with bus or metro to Syntagma, it’s only 5 minutes walk down the Mitropoleos street. Breakfast is served for 8€ out on a terrace and contains a small buffet with fresh omelette made, if you want. The price for the standard of this hotel is a bit too high but you pay for a great location in Athens.

Requested two beds in our reservation and only got one. No amenities

The location is perfect, walkable to a lot of restaurants, shopping and Parthenon area. The best is the staff! OMG I can’t thank the staff enough, when a local tour company did not come on time and messed up our booking, a very nice lady who worked night shift made numerous phone calls and did not stop until our taxi came to take us to the port (we were going to Santorini). Thank you so much! We had a great time.

The room was clean, staff were very helpful and kind, and had a great terrace view! Also was in an excellent location!

The breakfast menu is good value for Euro8. The AC does not keep the room cool bc it was set at 25 degrees C, which we found it a bit high.

Everything about this Hotel was great. Breakfast on the roof or top floor was a definite highlight as i was able to get fantastic pictures of the Acropolis. Room was cleaned everyday. The bathroom was recently upgraged. The location of the hotel is very central to everything. We were able to walk to everythjng (the sites). Everything was good about this place.

Location is perfect. Having a wonderful view of the Parthenon for rooftop breakfast was great and the women who prepares the breakfast buffet is wonderful. All the staff is friendly and helpful would recommend and hopes will visit again

We found our room to be dusty, as if it hadn’t been checked in months. There was no extra toilet paper in the room, the tv was very small. Our balcony was dirty from lack of use. Since we had a reservation for weeks I would expect to stay in a room that had been tidied even if it was cleaned weeks or months ago. Breakfast was a complete disappointment, Luke warm coffee and stale bread, I had expressed mobility issue, but still needed to climb a flight of stairs to use the elevator and a flight of stairs for the rooftop breakfast.mattress was very comfortable, excellent location, but i wouldn’t stay again.
