Commonly used superlatives are inadequate to express the contribution of Nadina, Nikos and Chrysa to our wonderful experience at the Rex Hotel We were treated to service that went above and beyond ensuring our complete satisfaction. The spacious and clean accommodations enhanced a restful evening. The homemade breakfast consisting of local fair, freshly baked pies and cakes, eggs done to perfection and two freshly baked, simply delicious quiche offerings, coupled with fully stocked coffee and tea bars started the day in the right direction, leading us to a wonderful time on the amazing miles-long sandy Zaharo Beach.

This hotel is run very well. It is clean, feels like home rather than a hotel. The breakfast was so extensive with homemade foods that made it the best hotel breakfast we had in Greece! The bathrooms have artisan soaps and shampoos made in Crete. The owner really cares to make guests happy. This is our third time staying at the Rex. There are a few newer hotels nearby but I think this to be the best option for anybody visiting the area. The Rex could easily deserve another star.

The hotel was amazing and the owner was delightful. However, the booking was a nightmare. We were told by Hotels.com that we would be given one room for three adults and two children. Hotel Rex is unable to accommodate such a group. They were gracious enough to give us a second room at a discount. This is not their fault. It happened with another hotel on this trip booked through Hotels.com. They said that this happens often and they have reached out to Hotels.com several time, but it has never been fixed. While I highly recommend staying at Hotel Rex, please contact the hotel directly.

The hotel was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and bed very comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served downstairs. Hotel was located centrally to the town square and close to shops and restaurants. Around 2km from the stunning beach. What made the stay special was how caring and helpful the staff were. Angela, the owner, especially earns a mention as she could not do enough to help with local information, buses and so on. She made phone calls today confirm bus times and stops and even took me to where I needed to be. Amazing, cannot praise the hospitality highly enough. I hope to return in the future and will definitely stay here, hopefully for longer. Can't recommend Rex highly enough.

Das Rex Hotel liegt zentral in Zacharo, in direkter Nähe zu Bars und Restaurants. Das Hotel ist umgeben von gepflegten Blumen und Bäumen sowie einem sehr schönen Garten. Die sehr freundliche Besitzerin hieß und herzlich willkommen. Der Empfangs-, Aufenthalts und Frühsücksbereich ist sehr charmant mit Antiquitäten, Büchern und Möbeln dekoriert. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen über einen großen Balkon. Das Frühstück ist eine Klasse für sich! Die Auswahl an Speisen, frisch zubereiteter Backwaren, Müslis, usw. ist beeindruckend. Best Milopita ever (gr. Apfelkuchen). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt!

Les plages près de l'hôtel, 1 à 2 kms, sont magnifiques et désertes début Septembre. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour une étape au Peloponnese. La chambre pour 3 était grande, tres propre, la salle de bain aussi.L'accueil est très chaleureux et le petit déjeuner délicieux, le meilleur pour le moment de notre voyage.

pour 60E difficile de faire mieux avec un accueil chaleureux

Great place. I stopped at the REX on a driving trip from Klamata to Patras. Could not have been better. Friendly people, several restaurant options and a quiet room.

El hotel está muy bien dentro de su categoría. Spiro, el director del establecimiento, es una persona encantadora, dispuesto a ofrecer información sobre todo lo que necesites saber y preocupado porque todo funcione. La habitación es correcta, pero los espacios comunes: salones y comedor son estupendos. Me encantó la decoración ecléctica de los salones, donde era un placer tomarte un café, descansar o leer un rato

Travelling in February we had the hotel almost to ourselves. Friendly owner, a great breakfast with quality local produce, a pleasant chimney, nice decoration.

I couldn't have been more comfortable at this hotel. The proprietress, Angela, took good care of me all week, as if I were a member of her family. As I was travelling on my own, she kept an eye on me and we spent some happy hours putting the world to rights on the front terrace. She also gave me the recipe for her olive oil cake, which I ate every day at breakfast and loved. Spyros and Nadina arrived later in the week and took me to two wonderful 'hidden' tavernas in the mountains, where the food was wonderful, and dessert was grapes pulled straight from the vine above our heads. I walked to the beach every day (about 25 minutes) and gradually found my way around Zacharo, which is a working town, not a touristy place, and I preferred this. I walked to the top of the village where the view from the church is stunning: overlooking the town all the way to the sea, and the mountains on the other side. The children played football in the square of an evening while local people relaxed at their tables with a cold beer or strong coffee. I was so chilled by the end of my week at the Rex that I could barely move. It was a wonderful, restful break and I'm looking forward to going back again.

Το ξενοδοχείο REX βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Ζαχάρως, ακριβώς απέναντι από τις υπέροχες πλατείες της με τα Cafe, Pizza, σουβλάκι... Είναι μια τοποθεσία πολύ κοντά στην παραλία της Ζαχάρως, του Κακόβατου και στα σημαντικά αξιοθέατα της περιοχής, όπως είναι η Αρχαία Ολυμπία, η Κυπαρισσία, ο Καϊάφας κ.ά. Δεν μπορούσα ποτέ να φανταστώ ότι είχα κάνει κράτηση στο ωραιότερο ξενοδοχείο της περιοχής! Είναι μια οικογενειακή επιχείρηση, τελείως διαφορετική από τα κλασσικά, ψυχρά ξενοδοχεία. Από πού να ξεκινήσω... Οι ιδιοκτήτες πολύ ευγενικοί και φιλόξενοι πάντα πρόθυμοι να σε εξυπηρετήσουν σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστείς. Τα δωμάτια πολύ άνετα και πεντακάθαρα, όπως και όλο το ξενοδοχείο άλλωστε, με καθημερινή καθαριότητα, αλλαγή πετσετών και σεντονιών, ψυγείο, τηλεόραση, κλιματισμό, δωρεάν WiFi. Το πρωινό πλούσιο και εφάμιλλο των καλύτερων ευρωπαϊκών ξενοδοχείων με τοπικές και χειροποίητες γεύσεις διαφορετικές από μέρα σε μέρα και με πολύ μεγάλη ποικιλία!!! Μπορείς να το απολαύσεις όχι μόνο στην τραπεζαρία αλλά και στον υπέροχο κήπο! Το σαλόνι του ξενοδοχείου, σε τρία επίπεδα, είναι γεμάτο με πανέμορφα παλιά ξύλινα έπιπλα, βιβλιοθήκη, πίνακες, φωτιστικά και τζάκι, που σε κάνουν να νιώθεις ότι ζεις σε μια άλλη εποχή! Ό,τι και να πω είναι λίγα...!!! Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στον Κύριο Σπύρο και την αξιολάτρευτη Κυρία Μπεμπέκα!!!!!!!!!!! Θεοδοσία Χατζηνικολή
